Poll: Cain Overtakes Romney With GOP Primary Voters
Newsmax ^ | 10/4/11 | David Patten

Posted on 10/05/2011 12:29:18 PM PDT by justsaynomore

A Newsmax/InsiderAdvantage poll shows businessman and radio talk-host Herman Cain now leading former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney among likely GOP primary voters in the fight for the 2012 Republican nomination. The exclusive poll, taken in the past 24 hours, shows Cain vaulting Romney 26 percent to 24 percent. The poll has a margin of error of 4.4 percent. Several other polls show similar results, establishing Cain as the new grass-roots frontrunner deadlocked with Romney, the establishment Republican choice. A new CBS poll showed Cain and Romney deadlocked, with each candidate garnering 17 percent of the vote. And a Quinnipiac University poll released Thursday shows Romney leading Cain 22 percent to 17 percent — a statistical tie due to the poll’s margin of error.

Yes but...the Chris Wallace interview on Sunday with Herman Cain was a good one. Chris was clearly impressed...and paid him some very nice compliments and reached out to shake his hand at the end of the interview.

“just put my Cain 2012 sign in the front yard”

Just make sure to rub your signs with poison ivy/oak/sumac. That’s how I found out it was my neighbor’s kid stealing my signs! “Wow Joe! That’s some nasty poison ivy! Where did you get into it?” Bwaaaaa!

Video of Herman Cain on The View... somehow hosted on FOX

http://nation.foxnews.com/herman-cain/2011/10/05/herman-cains-common-sense-stuns-view

He went into the snake pit and charmed the snakes. Another Homerun. Amazing! I don't care how much money the other candidates have... these types of appearances are priceless. Any true conservative who can sit through The View without strangling at least one of them is a saint.

Rassmussen did a Obama vs. Cain poll. It was 39 to 34 but that was at 50% name recognition (before the last debates and recent publicity)

And to assist in putting the final nail in RINO Romney’s campaign, view and share the video embedded in the link below, it shows Romney, using his own words, is nothing more than Obama lite:

Article title is “It is Imperative that we torpedo Mitt Romney” after viewing the video one will agree, if they hold conservative values.

Note video is a little long but worth the watch.

Charming Glenn Beck and the women on The View on the same day is quite amazing to me. He has got a presence that can win over people from a wide political spectrum, and he is quickly becoming a media darling.

Obama has become a HUGE disappointment to his followers and the media. I wouldn't have thought that this was possible... but I think that Herman Cain is getting sucked into the vacuum that this has created. I just couldn't believe that Whoopie Goldberg seemed awe struck. It was like she wanted to go into her normal routine but she couldn't because she was like a little girl listening to a minister. I doubt whether this can last, but Mr. Cain's quick wit and sincerity seems to charm these media snakes. It is almost a little scary.

I am watching Cain on Cavuto right now. He has been all over the TV in the last few days and I haven’t seen Perry or Romney anywhere! Who says you need a huge war chest? Honestly, the more I hear him, the more I like him. I just ask people to keep an open mind.

A yard sign wouldn't do much good in my yard as I live at the end of a dirt road

I live on a circle at a point where it is about as close to go one way as the other to get out. In other words, the back. If I put a sign up, literally ONES (okay maybe tens, if you count the mailman, and it's trash day, and there's a garage sale) of different people would see my sign daily.

*******

Well, not so much scary as I think Herman Cain is just a genuinely charismatic person. The difference is — he’s not phony or arrogant, like Obama. People can spot a phony when they see one — and they are drawn to those that are genuine.

I do believe the man is genuine, smart, charasmatic, and just naturally a good guy. It’s what we need — a good guy who loves the country. (with a few extra talents thrown in).

When’s the last time we had that in a president??

Tell me about it!

Cain has had the highest positive intensity of any candidate on Gallup for 15 of the last 18 weeks (Perry got a bump for a while). Cain had his highest rating of any GOP every last week.

BUT his name recognition has been low. I think that has been his biggest obstacle. Once people hear Cain and his ideas, they love him - he tells the truth but he is not combative. He is confident, but down to earth. And he breaks things down in a way that people understand - common sense.
