A Newsmax/InsiderAdvantage poll shows businessman and radio talk-host Herman Cain now leading former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney among likely GOP primary voters in the fight for the 2012 Republican nomination. The exclusive poll, taken in the past 24 hours, shows Cain vaulting Romney 26 percent to 24 percent. The poll has a margin of error of 4.4 percent. Several other polls show similar results, establishing Cain as the new grass-roots frontrunner deadlocked with Romney, the establishment Republican choice. A new CBS poll showed Cain and Romney deadlocked, with each candidate garnering 17 percent of the vote. And a Quinnipiac University poll released Thursday shows Romney leading Cain 22 percent to 17 percent a statistical tie due to the polls margin of error.

As a result of the Florida straw poll, Cain has been getting a lot of free airtime lately, and the more voters see and hear about him, the more they like.
I heard that he did well on The View today. (Didn’t see it myself.)
It’s good to see a conservative finally do well.
Go Herman!
I believe this is the first time he’s lead nationally in any poll. :)
No longer looking like a polling fluke...
The Cain Train is gaining steam!
I remember when people mocked the Florida straw poll. What they didn’t understand was that mindshare LEADS to marketshare.
"Wow!!!!!! Mitt Romney's incredible 3 to 1 devastating loss to Herman Cain in Florida
and his third place hopeless loss to Mr. Cain in the Presidential Straw Poll
of National Federation of Republican Women,
and Romneys loss to Cain in the October Newsmax/InsiderAdvantage poll, proves to me that
by McGinniss and Ailes and Romney and all their dirty tricks,
you can bet that FOX News and I will forever pimp
... Milt Romney as the "ONLY leading candidate" in your future."
With the primaries getting earlier, it is good to see conservatives coalesce around a candidate.
If we don’t, Romney will be our nominee.
The good news just keeps rolling in. All we need is for Perry to debate true to form so far and he will lose more supporters to Cain. If Palin stays out of the race and chooses NOT to endorse anyone yet, Cain will jump another 10 to 15 points in most polls. If she announces that she is NOT running AND endorses Herman Cain during that speech;
This race is over. Cain will be the nominee and the next POTUS.
Yes indeedy! Having just put my Cain 2012 sign in the front yard, I can say that I haven't put up a sign with such enthusiasm in a very long time.
The Newsmax/InsiderAdvantage poll also asked likely Republican primary voters: If Mitt Romney becomes the Republican nominee, would you be likely, somewhat likely, somewhat unlikely, or unlikely to support a third-party candidate? Thirty-five percent of likely GOP voters said it either was likely (19.5 percent) or somewhat likely (15.5 percent) that they would support a third-party candidate, if Romney wins the GOP nomination.

Excellent! A yard sign wouldn’t do much good in my yard as I live at the end of a dirt road —but I’m going to get one for the upstairs office window and it will be seen by thousands! :-)
Good deal! We have a total of 2 miles of frontage on I-20 and there is no telling how many signs we’ll have before it is all said and done. I’m gonna contact his campaign and see if they’d like to put up a couple of large signs that could be seen by millions of eyes.
I live on a very busy main road and I have my yard sign up. A lot of people honk when they pass and my USPS and UPS delivery guy both told me they like Cain :-)
I think I will put another sign up that says, “Honk if you like Herman Cain!” and see how many I get.
Thank you!
Go Herm Go!
