Wow. Erik Erikson having complete mental breakdown, consumed with obsessive hatred of Sarah Palin
Hill Buzz ^ | October 1, 2011 | Kevin DuJan

Posted on 10/01/2011 4:41:00 PM PDT by E. Pluribus Unum

Folks — check out what’s going on at Redstate.com today.

Please keep screengrabbing the site throughout the day and send the JPEGs to us at HillBuzz@gmail.com. I’m not on a computer that can screengrab right now, and I want to preserve the insanity at Redstate.com for posterity. Every hour, Redstate takes a punch at Palin supporters and I don’t want it disappeared down the memory hole.

Erik Erikson, Redstate’s Editor in Chief, has an obsessive hatred of Governor Sarah Palin.  Erikson has become, essentially, the new mouthpiece of the Cocktail Party GOP establishment — what Governor Palin calls “the permanent political class” — and is truly obsessed with beating the drum that the Governor cannot enter the presidential race for 2012.

Meanwhile…Erikson and his fellow sexists at Redstate make no similar remarks about Chris Christie, Donald Trump, or other males who are currently strategizing on the sidelines awaiting the best opportunity to make political moves of their own.

Governor Palin has a plan.  She’s had a plan for at least three years now.  2012 is her best chance at winning the presidency and she well knows it.  Everything she’s done has been to run the most unconventional campaign in American political history because she knows she’s up against not just the Left, the media, the Obama White House, and villains like George Soros…but she’s up against the Cocktail Party GOP establishment and guys like Erik Erikson as well.

She will not play by their rules or adhere to their timetables.  She will do things her way, AND SHE WILL WIN.

In 2008, Chris Matthews, Tim Russert, and Keith Olbermann teamed up to demoralize and berate Hillary Clinton’s supporters in the Democrat primaries to push Obama towards the presidency.

In 2011, Erik Erikson has either been assigned, or has presumed, this role in the 2012 Republican primaries…but this time the woman that’s targeted is Governor Sarah Palin and the objective is to demoralize and berate HER supporters.

I wonder if Erikson drives a red, flashy sports car. Traditionally, that’s how guys with small penises compensate; though, in Erikson’s case, he does have Redstate at his disposal, so chest-thumping like he’s doing today, in an aggressive and repetitive assault on Governor Palin’s supporters, must be how this man asserts “No, really, I have an at least average sized penis.  Really.  Don’t believe anything you’ve heard or assume anything from the way I behave myself.  Really.  It’s not microscopic at all, and it’s almost fully functioning”.

For some reason, I’m not surprised that a guy like Erik Erikson in the Cocktail Party GOP establishment sports a shriveled up Vienna sausage and feels the need to compensate for it in the most childish way imaginable.

Whatever respect I had left for Redstate since Erikson took his gig at CNN is now forever gone.

Every hour on the hour he’s, very brattily, excoriating Governor Palin’s supporters shouting “She’s not declared yet!”.

I have news for Erik “baby dick” Erikson:  Governor Palin will indeed declare her candidacy, precisely on the day Governor Palin chooses to.

It will more likely than not be after the October 18th GOP debate…since every debate men like Rick Perry lose more steam and the Governor benefits from not being the sole center of attention she knows she will be the moment she declares.

The Governor learned volumes from what men like Erikson did to Hillary Clinton and her supporters in the 2008 race. She is not repeating any of Hillary’s mistakes, and is stalking the GOP race like the master huntress she is.

Erikson is beclowning himself today and having quite a tantrum. His shortcomings are bared for all to clearly see.

Can someone please document it, so we can all call him out on this sometime after October 18th and show what an abject fool he’s made of himself today?

Please screengrab Redstate’s homepage from top to bottom so we get a complete record of today’s beclownment.

i am a longtime sarahpac supporter and she is still #1 choice here, esp since Perry’s implosion but let this one SP supporter say that i dont know if she has a genius strategy or not. But, it is her strategy and she is entitled to do it her way, or does she have to run her campaign according how the media or country clubbers want her to. WIN or LOSE it will be her decisions.

If Jim DeMint were running, we need not wait for Sarah. But the group of candidates we have now, well, there is still quite a gap that Sarah fills best, and Cain does somewhat also, but Sarah does better.

Your analysis of Palin’s strategy is very good, and in my view, is just simple observation, reasoning, and deduction on your part.

It’s always interesting to me that so many people who are watching Palin fail to see the various aspects of her strategy at work. I really don’t believe that it takes a genius level I.Q. to figure it out.

From what I can see, it’s just Big League Politics 101.

“Or Gov. Palin won’t run, won’t say she won’t run and is giggling on how once was a worthy effort and candidate has become a shadow that has weight but no heft.

Her hesitancy hurts Conservatives day by day. She should just say she won’t run so that the small number of fools who still think she is playing Pan-dimensional chess can use their energy to back a real candidate (whomever that may be).”

ROTFLMAO. Not often get to see someone contradict themselves in two consecutive paragraphs in the same post,

I don't think that there needs to be zots. I think that some pulled posts for egregious language etc would be enough.

Well, I'd like to see some discipline a little stronger than that, given the level of disruption practiced by a few. Maybe a stern reprimand on the forum, followed by a two week time out. That'd suit me.

In addition to the Secret Service, President Sarah Palin would need to have the strongest, most determined and the most adept prayer brigade ever assembled to help ward off and fend off all that would be sent against her.

Interesting times.

Cain is my choice right now and was from the beginning. Thought he didn’t have a shot was looking at Perry and now I’m thrilled that Cain has gotten momentum. For me I prefer Cain,Palin,Perry either one is fine but goodness the obsession with Palin is like worshipping idols.

I like Cain too. Bachmann as well, but I don't think thats a possiblility. Maybe I can explain how I feel about Palin if you have want to read. My brothers were Marines in Viet Nam. The way the left treated the military was disgusting. I was very young at the time, and for that reason had no voice. I remember my mother in tears pretty much every day, since the war was so highly televised, every dead body looked like one of my brothers.

I have witnessed first hand the way Gov. Palin has been treated by he left, and now from the right. If we, as Americans allow this bad treatment, we deserve what we get. I'm sorry it comes across as obsession with her personally, it's not. It is an obsession to NOT let a patriotic and credentialed American be taken down by politics as usual. Please let me give you an example.

Sarah Palin was Gov. of Alaska, enjoying an 88 percent approval rating. She was asked by McCain, and with it the GOP to come and run as VP. McCain really needed her to shore up the base. She gave the election her all, and ended up drawing more crowds than the top of the ticket. After McCain lost, she went back to Alaska, and was met with silly lawsuit after silly lawsuit. And, but for helping McCain and the GOP, she was having a great life. Now, she's half a million dollars in debt. Where were the GOP when this happened. I can tell you where McCain was. He was on Jay Leno mocking Sarah Palin!

Now, people I have supported with my vote, and with my word, such as Dick Cheney, have come out and asked, Why did she quit? He's too smart not to know.

Honestly to me, I feel like a dolt for ever giving them support. It won't happen again, no matter how many names people want to call me.

I shouldn't judge...it is Saturday night and I like to party as much as the next guy, but...

don't you know better than to mix alcohol and drama pills?

Relax. Enjoy the ride. Patience is a virtue...acquire some.

My thinking was that having a number of posts pulled would be frustrating and posters would learn to muzzle it. And there is room for improvement on all sides.

The biggest problem is that the attacks on Palin and her supporters are personal and have been for 3 years.

If a poster questions a stand of other candidates their supporters cry "Foul!".

There's a BIG difference between what is said about Palin and what is questioned about Perry, Cain and the others.

Have to call it a night. Need to be up early.

Have a great evening my FRiend!

Cain may be a candidate, but when it comes to winning the primary he is a candidate tilting at windmills. Sadly after Obama, Americans for generations will have had it with black presidents.

If the major candidates implode she’ll jump in.

If that was the case then she would already be in there. The current crop of candidates aren't good.
