Where did I say that Jefferson wrote the First? He wrote the letter to the Baptists of Danbury as I said...the “canonical” letter that carries NO weight. Please read my posts on this...

Cain got my vote!

He won the debate, although the pundits won't say that. He had solutions, a REAL personality and humor. He is the bright light for me after this debate.

It is against federal law to offer in-state tuition to illegal aliens. The federal Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 “prohibits states from providing a postsecondary education benefit to an alien not lawfully present in the United States on the basis of residence unless any U.S. citizen or national is eligible for the same benefit.”

Sanctuary cities are also illegal under federal law, but no one is doing anything about it. Do you want to leave it up to the states as well?

Thanks for posting this!

Dang, Perry stuttered like a drunken fool Perry is cooked if anyone actually watched this debate.

It's revealing..

Reminds me of another president who had difficulty putting a sentence together.

I agree on Cain. I would definitely vote for him. Alas, I probably won’t get the chance, as the PA primary is late....

I don’t like to say this, but we are really screwed.

32% of idiots in this country still think Obama is doing a good job.

32% of people are either on the dole or the drug of government employment. Thank you very much.

Debate over.

Mitt isn’t hurt.
Perry didn’t really help himself.
Huntsman/Santorum went down.
Bachmann treaded water.
Cain moved up.
Johnson got some laughs, but isn’t a real candidate.
Huntsman got yawns...Juan Williams says Huntsman did good, so you know he sucked.
Newt did ok, but is not a real candidate.

[Out of country but legal.]

Anyone out of state has to move to Texas and live here one year before getting the ‘instate’ tuition.

A foreign national who has lived in Texas for three years, who graduates from a Texas high school or gets a GED, and who signs an affidavit promising to seek permanent-legal-resident status in the United States if they become eligible for that status, is given in-state tuition at Texas public schools. This applies to foreign nationals who have entered the U.S. legally and illegally.

Instate tuition is what all Texas kids have to pay.
