I lived in Menominee and moved from there over 20 years ago. In my four years there, I saw one black family once at an outdoor ice skating rink. There may be a large Native Indian population, but it was a very "white" area.
I don’t think you guys get it. They most likely aren’t eating those steaks and lobsters but selling them to people in the neighborhood. That is one way you convert food stamps to cash.

Ping. Food stamp recipients should be limited to a list of nutritious but reasonable items which can be purchased with food stamps. The primary reason for food stamps is to feed children. I don’t know many children who would put lobster and porterhouse steaks at the top of their food chain.
As they choke off our social services, welfare, food stamps, healthcare, hospitals, jails, Social Security, jobs, etc etc.
What? They don’t carry caviar?

Are you saying people who get food stamps haven’t paid taxes?
This may be news to you, but an ever-shrinking proportion of the population pays net taxes, and people on food stamps are almost 100% certain to be net tax takers.
I can't believe I have to actually argue here to establish the principle that welfare fraud is theft.

Look at that line again. The "D" is handwritten to make a joke (DEBT out of EBT). The line actually reads "EBT Food Stamps Tender". When I get a receipt for cash, it states cash, if I get one for Debit or Credit, it says so.

um yeah... so after buyinga weeks worth of food what do you think they do until the next month? starve? or sponge some other food source?
