Sarah Palin will swoop into Iowa and New Hampshire to speak at tea party rallies this Labor Day weekend, whipping up talk she will announce her candidacy for president. After all, this coming Saturday will mark the third anniversary of her acceptance speech for vice president at the Republican National Convention a speech which established her as both a conservative icon and a magnet for criticism.
Her supporters are certainly encouraging talk she will be a 2012 candidate. Peter Singleton, her Iowa political organizer, told National Reviews Robert Costa last month: I believe she will run. Labor Day will kick off the Republican campaign for the nomination. She is going to make a major, major speech.
But Team Palin is extremely sensitive about anyone else who speculates about what shes up to. Karl Rove, President Bushs political strategist, told Fox News last month he thought Palins schedule in Iowa meant she would announce her candidacy this coming weekend. That prompted this riposte from Team Palin on the website of her PAC:
Any professional pundit claiming to have inside information regarding Governor Palins personal decision is not only wrong but their comments are specifically intended to mislead the American public.
At the risk of being accused of misleading people, let me state that Sarah Palin isnt running for president.

John Fund helped write Bachmanns book...there is no bias there of course!!!!!! What a joke!
Those pictures are interesting in that the basic T-shirt color is University of Texas burnt orange while Perry is a Texas Aggie through and through.
I don’t believe she will endorse anyone right away. I think she will wait to see what becomes of the Perry/Bachmann battle, and endorse the one left standing against Romney.
She certainly won’t back Mitt.
And you stay on your knees, k? Thanks.
That wasn't a "photograph" it was a video that if you are watching flashes by so fast as to be unintelligible. That is a "stop frame" picture. Anyway those folks with the Perry shirts on looked VERY happy to meet Sarah.
Bullocks. I’ve seen him enough on FOX to never go back. As for baseless, why don’t you actually listen to what the man says when he’s on FOX, and the candidates he props up? You may not like what you see.
Fund may very well be biased. He may also be right.
I don’t think she’ll endorse anyone until the winner is chosen at the RNC. Then its ABO.
When she finally does stop playing her coy little games it will be interesting around here to see how a certain cadre of goddess worshippers spin that one!
R,
two big reasons why Perry will never see an endorsement from Sarah. First he forgot where his gonads were in January (after she saved his sorry ass in Nov) and abjectly failed to offer ANY public support when she was being accused as an accessory to mass murder. Todd kept score on that one you betcha and Perry is on the wrong side of the ledger. Secondly, he flat out lied about his POTUS intentions. I suspect that as the real crony capitalist Perry comes into sharp relief the Palin’s view of him has got dimmer and dimmer. He’s nothing more than just politics as usual. Worse yet he’s shaping up as the US version of David Cameron. No surprise she’s devoting a chunk of speech tomorrow to crony capitalism!
“No, nothing worries me at this point, Palin told TheDC. Could I support somebody like Mitt Romney? Yeah.
Also, why on earth would you endorse someone else when your documentary is being released on pay-per-view this weekend?
Lets say she isn’t running(personally I expect her to run). You at least would wait for Labor Day Weekend PPV buys to be over before breaking all of us Palinistas hearts? :)
After all she’s really just in it for the attention and money... ;)

and she’s parking the bus there, too!
I love how she drives ‘em all crazy. (and even some of the folks here, as well.)
Absolutely right.
Well then I agree with her. I really don’t like Romney, and I don’t want to have to vote for him, but I feel it would be my duty to do so were he the nominee (although I live in CA, so my vote really won’t matter anyway. Still, I can’t pass up the chance to vote against the Commie in Chief).
Obama must be defeated.
From one lurker to another—agreed!
I’m pretty much a Palin Goddess worshipper, love her, but its obvious she isn’t running if you’ve been watching media since the Nixon Administratin like I have. And as much as I like her I don’t want her to run. I like her as a queen maker.
He based his narrative story off of Sarah shaking some supporters of Perrys hands in her video! He admitted that he DOESN’T know Palins plans and neither does you in that she WON’T run!
I get sick and tired of people around here saying that she is going to endorse Rick Perry when her speech tomorrow will be in large part against crony capitalism which is a major Problem people have about Perry
It makes no sense to endorse someone who deals in crony capitalism when you’re dead set against it and Sarah during the Ames Fair pointed out differences between her and Rick Perrys time in office.....she even told Greta a few weeks ago when Rick was in the race that there was no one running that she could get behind - the only wishful thinking are those on FR and John Funds of the world that push silly narratives that makes no sense
Makes as much sense as the 523 other theories
MSM...""What!!! 523 other theories???...where are the other 143 theories???? ...find them all!!!"
They chase Sarah here...
They stalk Sarah there...
Those libtards follow her everywhere. Will she run?
or not...they grouse
They don't want Sarah, in the White House
