Never-Wrong Pundit Picks Obama to Win in 2012

Allan Lichtman, the American University professor whose election formula has correctly called every president since Ronald Reagans 1984 re-election, has a belated birthday present for Barack Obama: Rest easy, your re-election is in the bag.
Even if I am being conservative, I dont see how Obama can lose, says Lichtman, the brains behind The Keys to the White House.
Lichtmans prediction helps to explain a quirk in some polling that finds that while Americans disapprove of the president, they still think he will win re-election

That he is a usurper, not a natural born citizen, and one who as posted numerous forgeries, is a deliberately unreported scandal.
95% of the media ripping republicans and the Tea Party apart everyday is a start. Then add in the fact that 52% of all Americans now depend on the government for part if not all of their subsistence and it is easy to understand why we are being sucked into the whirlpool of Marxism.
Don't forget the combination of poor educations, greed and gullibility.
from the article:
Social unrest: There is no sustained social unrest during the term. Says Lichtman, There wasnt any social unrest when I made my predictions for 2012 and there still isnt. Obama wins a fifth key here.
Sorry LickMan, there is a lot of social unrest. What the HELL do you think the Tea Party is all about? Oh, we're not violent like the lunatic hippies in the 1960s. But to say there is no unrest is damn wrong.
LickMan is also wrong on another point:
Foreign/military failure: The incumbent administration suffers no major failure in foreign or military affairs. Says Lichtman, We havent seen any major failure that resembles something like the Bay of Pigs and dont foresee anything. Obama wins again.
Huh? A record number of American deaths in Afghanistan isn't a failure? Osama getting killed is credited NOT to Hussein but to the Navy SEALS and the policies of Dubya. Not to mention his failure to recognize what was happening in Egypt, walking away from Israel, and allowing the proliferation of nuclear Iran and North Korea.
Look at the article for a good laugh. LickMan gives Hussein NINE WINS out of twelve factors...he is convinced Hussein is a lock for re-election.
LLS
He will get the black vote, the socialist/marxcist vote, the freeloader vote, the idiot white voters who are too dumb to know better and he will get the benefit of massive voter fraud fostered by unions and other criminals. The election could be a squeaker and the very survival of our Republic is hanging in the balance. God help us.
No matter how you slice it, you can't outvote the welfare crowd+government employees+Union syncophants....no relief in sight via the ballot box, I'm afraid. The Courts have shown they are onboard with protecting the Ruling Class AND THE AGENDA.
We The People do not have "Standing".
Hopefully, in his new job, Barry will actually be able to give me the change that I’m looking for (if he can count it out properly, that is).
Obama will be hard to beat in 2012 because he is not a politician. He is a cult leader.
I say Oregon and New Jersey will go Republican - I bet no more than 15, too. Oh, and I think Minnesota and New York are in play, so 13 is not unreasonable.
Add to that list that the "third party" point is scored the wrong way - Obama benefits from a third party, so the absence of one is a minus for him not a plus.
I don't think he gets any foreign policy points either - his global strategy, diplomatic and military, is one that nobody but his donors are happy with.
I remember my brother telling me that Reagan was going to die in office because every president who was elected on the zero year (in this case, 1980) died in office.
Except he didn’t.
This guy’s track record is based on less than ten election cycles. That is not empirical evidence. It is anecdotal evidence. Give him a century or two of this sort of thing and I’ll take it more seriously.
If Romney is on the ticket.....(ugh)......Massachsetts.
I wasn’t surprised Clinton won in 1992. Disappointed? Yes. Surprised? No.
I wasn’t surprised he won again in 1996. Disappointed? Yes. Surprised? No.
I wasn’t surprised Obama won in 2008. Disappointed? Definitely. Surprised? No.
I will be very, very, very, very surprised if Obama wins this time around. I know people are stupid (they elected him the first time around) but I will be thunderstruck if they are THAT stupid!!
Yup it’s not even a close call. Obama loses badly by an objective interpretation of this pundit’s own formula.
Not like anybody you stopped on the street at random couldn’t tell you that anyway.
So he's correctly predicted the outcomes of seven elections, the majority of which weren't a suprise to anyone. I predict he's wrong this time, way wrong.
