When you hear every single liberal media outlet in the country say, "We will know more about Rick Perry after we vet his 11 years in office," you need to understand that what they vindictively mean is: "President Obama and his followers will be proud of us after we are done with the mother of all smearing campaigns against the conservative governor of Texas."
Not since Ronald Reagan has a Republican candidate for president evoked such outright fear and loathing from the mainstream media and the far-left.
They are flat-out petrified of Perry and are desperately trying to kill off his candidacy before it can take hold. Why?
Simple. As they suspiciously heap praise on the likes of Jon Huntsman and even Mitt Romney, they increasingly worry that Perry has the best chance to defeat their handpicked socialist messiah now occupying the Oval Office.

Can’t imagine what sort of potential Perry scandal would not be allowed to be discussed here at FR since we have already discussed all manner of sexual scandal here already, from adultery to homosexuaility, to pedophilia, to oral sex. And of course, criminal activity has never been off limits either.
At this point Perry looks pretty clean, otherwise any scandal would have been raised by now at least in his 3 races for Governor. On the other hand, they could just make somthing up like they did with Bush. We will see. As far as the lowered morality level because of Clinton, I agree, they Clintons really set the bar low.
Exhibit A:
There was the Bush family supporting his opponent in his last election as one example.
In the intra-Republican party fight for Texas governor, 41 {G.H.W. Bush} has chosen U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison over Gov. Rick Perry. He joins his close friend, longtime consigliere, and former White House chief-of-staff James Baker, who endorsed Hutchison earlier this week, and a long list of his son George W. Bush's closest associates in lining up behind the challenger to the incumbent. Hutchison has the public backing of former Vice President Dick Cheney, former Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings, and former Counselor to the President and communications director Karen Hughes, and she's being advised by former Deputy White House Chief of Staff Karl Rove.

No such thing as 100% in life or politics.
“We will know more about Rick Perry after we vet his 11 years in office,”
translation: We here in mainstream media are so lazy and insular we have not paid one whit of attention to him for 11 years.
***Perry is more rigidly conservative than Bush, more resistant to compromise and more anti-establishment***
Sounds good to me!
Conservative=Someone who agrees with me and my candidate 100%
RINO=Anyone who does NOT agree with me 100% and/or does not endorse my candidate
Liberal moran troll=Anyone who CRITICIZES my candidate
You pretty much summed it up.
Or you can get raw with these strings. Either way, the violin is sweet yet lethal.
Do it!
Indeed, but, not if a third-party arises.

Well, I think Ron Paul would take as much from Obama as the pubbies, and Trump too. Trump has already spent all his political cache, he would be a dud, plus I think he likes Perry. Remember, a third party ran in 1980 (anderson) and Reagan won in a landslide anyway. I am not too worried about it.
awakenings can be very rude for boys who underestimate women.
as i said before, boys who underestimate/fear women are in for the rude awakening of the century -> President Palin: Commander in Chief of the US Armed Forces. Leader of the free world.
for some this will be too harsh a reality to fathom.
God, I hope so.
Sorry, I lost the context of this comment about 4 pages ago. I’m a girl, by the way. Anyway, later.
>>No such thing as 100% in life or politics.<<
But there IS indeed such a standard in some corners of FR...
Oh I know.
Must make life difficult.
Would be a surprise if I haven’t seen some of it myself.
I love this board. It’s sad a handful of posters control it now. All this talk about reporting people just for disagreeing, it’s made me post less. I can’t be bothered with that crap.
I guess I’m just hoping it changes.
I vote for who I think is best for this Country and I really don’t give a damn what anyone else thinks.
I read threads about pop culture stuff and can’t see the difference between the sides. I don’t want to be on either side, lol.
The hipocrisy (this spelling is so wrong, I’m going with hypocracy) is so apparent. Sometimes, I think the most vocal are those who screwed up so much they’re trying to set the bar so high for others so they come out looking good. Sorta like those on the other side who do the same thing.
I know how I was raised. How I’m raising my kids. :) I guess that’s all that really matters.
Seriously, do you expect anyone to believe that after all the vitriol you have spewed against Sarah Palin over the past two years??? You just admitted (again) that you're an oil man, and hold a personal grudge against Palin from your days as a "blood sucking taker" in Alaska. Your statement looks like a clear contradiction, or even a lie, based on what you have admitted to before.
And what do you have against "pure" Conservatives?
