SarahPAC released the following statement:
Three years ago DC pundits predicted with glee the demise of Sarah Palin’s political career. This past weekend their tune changed, citing false information that she has made a decision and set a date regarding a future campaign. Any professional pundit claiming to have “inside information” regarding Governor Palin’s personal decision is not only wrong but their comments are specifically intended to mislead the American public. These are the same tired establishment political games that fuel the 24-hour news cycle and that all Americans will hopefully reject in 2012, and this is more of the “politics-as-usual” that Sarah Palin has fought against throughout her career.
PS – Kudos to CNN for setting the record straight and including Governor Palin’s own words.
Here is an excerpt from the CNN article by Peter Hamby referenced above:
Here she is, in her own words:
Q: When is a good time? Do you have a timeline?
Palin: I have said that that August/September timeframe is important for logistical and legal reasons to jump in there, but
Q: So by next month?
Palin: I think that just practically speaking that has to be kind of a drop dead time. Also, in fairness to supporters, who are standing on the timeline, and this is what I have told Todd over and over again, I don’t want to be seen as or perceived as stringing people along, asking supporters, ‘Oh don’t just jump in there on someone else’s bandwagon because I may jump in, so hold off a little bit.’ That is not fair to them. After another month or two goes by, they need to know who it is that they can jump behind. Now more than ever, everybody has got to get involved in this 2012 election. They need to get out there and campaign for their chosen candidates, its all the more reason to hurry up and decide.
A few moments later, there was this exchange:
Q: Will you know by the next time you are here in Iowa whether you will be in, over Labor Day?
Palin: I doubt it. By the next time I am here by September 3? I don’t know if within the next couple of weeks I will be ready for an announcement or not.
Q: So the end of September is no longer a viable deadline?
Palin: No, he was asking about my next visit here on September 3, if I would be ready for an announcement September 3. And I said I don’t know if I would be ready by September 3.
Q: So the end of September would still be your timetable?
Palin: That is still a possibility for a timetable. Yes, definitely.
Come on, give it a break. The point of the thread is Palin setting the record straight on her announcement plans. Its not good net edicate to begin the thread saying hey, dump her go to my cantidate, and its worse to hassle the guy that put up the server for the thread about how he runs it.
Its not about what you cannot post, its about trying to herd cats and keep a topic on topic. Have you ever seen the jackboot limit on speech here? Hard to have an intellegent discussion if someone or two decides to post flack to jam the conversation.

I sensed that that would be the case, even before the primary circus began. I've said for a long time, that millions of Americans chose Sarah Palin as their president on November 4th, 2008. I certainly did.
As far as I, and millions of others are concerned, the 2012 race is a mere formality. She became the 45th President a long time ago.
I keep hearing Tom Petty in the back of my head singing, “The waiting is the hardest part...”. I think it will be later as well.

“I didnt know Sarah Palin threads were open to only Palin for President supporters.”
Palin threads are Caucus threads without the designation.
I don’t think this site is for spreading false dates and information about Palin’s announcement while bashing tea party candidates to the ground and calling them RINO’S (namely Bachmann) like jealous school children for the only purpose of promoting Palin who may not even run.
It makes not a lick of sense.

It would seem that Sept 3 is out, if for no other reason that it would give Rove creds.
And Hannity et al would pump his ego up so far that he would be impossible. LOL, not that he isn’t already...
bump that
IMO, Rove put the date out knowing full well that based on previous statements, it isn’t going to happen, ultimately giving him another opportunity to bash her.
Sarah already did it in Alaska. While hanging them, and watching them dance a jig as they simultaneously soil the fronts and backs of their pants is vastly more entertaining...
...it's actually less frowned upon by frumpy society types to just have them first fitted for State-issued jumpsuits, and then shipped off for sexual re-orientation by "Spike," "Razor" and "Knuckles" (the "Fresh Fish" counselors on Cell Block D, Levenworth).

Please feel free to provide documentation of this claim.
Isn't the genius “architect” smart enough to see that doing that makes him look bad, not her?
Seems like he unwittingly played right into her hands if he was 100% sure she wouldn't use that date.
It's amazing the dumbing down of the pundits.
Palin, living rent free in their brains!
It truly looks like when they read or hear something she says, it lobotomizes them.
What did a zillion Palin threads get nuked over night?
But my ping lists are ephemeral.
I just c/p’ed every name that responded to Cins' wife's post!
As far as I, and millions of others are concerned, the 2012 race is a mere formality. She became the 45th President a long time ago.

You have hit the trifecta with this absurd statement...it is delusional, certifiable and childish.
At this time; I only see one potential candidate willing to take on that monumental task.
