Obama: Idea of Changing Immigration Laws on My Own ‘Is Very Tempting’ Tuesday, July 26, 2011 By Edwin Mora
Washington (CNSNews.com) - President Barack Obama told a Hispanic civil rights group on Monday that the idea of reforming the U.S. immigration system on his own “is very tempting,” but under the U.S. Constitution, he is unable to do so without Congress.
“I swore an oath to uphold the laws on the books, but that doesn't mean I don't know very well the real pain and heartbreak that deportations cause,” Obama told the National Council of La Raza at the group’s annual meeting in Washington. “I share your concerns and I understand them. And I promise you, we are responding to your concerns and working every day to make sure we are enforcing flawed laws in the most humane and best possible way.
“Now, I know some people want me to bypass Congress and change the laws on my own -- and believe me, right now, dealing with Congress--”
The audience interrupted him with chants of “Yes you can! Yes you can!”
“Believe me -- believe me, the idea of doing things on my own is very tempting,” Obama responded. “I promise you. Not just on immigration reform. But that's not how -- that's not how our system works.”
“That’s not how our democracy functions,” he continued. “That's not how our Constitution is written.”
To some critics, it appears that the Obama administration is taking immigration matters into its own hands.

What is more, Haig had more experience, ability and right to make that kind of statement, at that time than “O” has making it now even AS ‘President’!!

He already has. He’s such a liar. These saps probably thought that he meant more Mexican immigration, but what he has actually done is reduce the legal spaces for people from Latin America and Europe in order to increase it for people from traditionally Muslim countries (mostly ME, but some in Africa, too). He did this by executive order right after he was inaugurated, and I think has reissued the same order every year.
As usual, Obama is duplicity personified. When speaking to the “Bronze People” race mongers who are the people who join La Raza (La Raza means the race), Obama used both Intel and Google as examples of businesses founded by immigrants. His implication was clear - the “Bronze People” of La Raza were going to also found great corporate successes.
He further implied that this could occur if he could somehow circumvent the Constitution and the express will of American voters. The voters do not want more “Bronze People” race card players.
Time now for the game Obama hates - Truth or Consequences! First, the truth - to the extent there is any truth in anything Obama says.
Truth - both Google and Intel had immigrants among their founders.
However, Obama implied that La Raza’s “Bronze People” racists would do the same as did the white immigrants.
FALSE! ! ! There are no such successes among the ‘Bronze People” as La Raza members insists on calling themselves. The actual “business successes” created by Messicans and other such “Bronze People” from Messico and Central America are drug cartels, prostitution rings, human trafficing, and such.
Conclusion: Obama has been caught in another lie.

This is how the President of the United States leads the nation and its citizens during a major financial crisis. He wants to go speak with La Raza when he says we are doomed and there is not much time left and he finds La Raza more important than our major financial crisis
