Allowing for the destruction of the United States is what I’ve come to expect from Obama...what McConnell has opened the door to here is traitorous as far as I’m concerned. Giving spending power to a POS who wants to further destroy this country should warrant a date with a jury then a rope or guillotine.
What angers me more than anything is the fix was probably in from the beginning. Obama knew he was going to win. He always does.
This current crop of GOP “leaders” isn’t anywhere near fit to lead.
Wasn’t the headline McConnell said there is no deal or negotiating as long as Obama is POTUS?

I do not think these statements are for “our” consumption, rather to run the liberal elites through the wrong door. Boner and Mac look like better poker players than Lil Timmy, Say it ain’t so Joe and Eat Yo Peas.
Besides they still have to get whatever is cooked up past the House.
This is going to enhance Obama's reputation and make him look stronger. I guess the GOP wants Obama reelected.

While I appreciate your disgust with the GOP, could you please share your plan for defeating Obama from being re-elected WITHOUT using the GOP. Really. I'm not a lock-step republican - I can be convinced. But please tell me how you are going to defeat Obama, because I don't think this country can survive another four years under him.

proposed medicare budget 2012=468 billion
number of medicare beneficiaries =47 million
This means that Medicare budget has allocated 9800/year per beneficiary =816 dollars/month
Lets eliminate medicare in its entirety-shut down the whole damn program-then take 50% of the budgeted expense =408 dollars/month and give that directly to each medicare beneficiary in their social security payment each month. Tell them IF THEY CHOOSE to do so-go and buy a health insurance policy with the money.
Instant, effective “50% cut in Medicare” -with a potentially better outcome with a private insurer for anyone over 65 -67 who wants health care.
Replacing Obama with a big government GOP RINO is not a victory. And if the story is true, McConnell has already handed over the election to Obama. He comes out of this looking like a strong leader who faced the GOP down and saved Medicare and SS.
