Allen Quist is author of five books, the most recent being America's Schools: The Battleground for Freedom. Quist authored the best-selling book, FedEd: The New Federal Curriculum and How It's Enforced, which has sold 17,000 copies. He explains the federal No Child Left Behind legislation and programs such as International Baccalaureate, he describes the math and reading wars, and he discusses the effects of international agreements on our schools. Quist writes about the preservation of America's sovereignty, our commitment to self-evident truth and unalienable rights, and our resolve to pass this liberty on to the next generation.

All I know is at my last high school reunion, I found that my old high school had been transformed into an International Baccelaureate school. My old HS (over 100 yo) had been the flagship school of my town, but it had fallen on hard times over the last 50 years with the more prosperous students from the more important families now attending newer school in newer communities.

The student body was now majority minority — heavily Hisipanic. I figured that this International Baccelaureate business was a way to restore pride to a school that was falling behind. That was 5 years ago, and I don’t know what’s happened since then, except that the Principal has retired.

At our tour, they made it sound like the IB was a very rare program. I’d be interested in anything more you all find about it.

They tried this in the Bellingham, WA school district for a while. I think that it was abandoned because of cost. It actually involved study trips for the teachers to foreign countries. No one wanted to pay for it and there was no way to opt out of the program if your kid was assigned to that school.

Pinging to alert you to some info on sovereignty-stripping treaties coming down the pike at us.

I ran across this by Dick Morris. There are some treaties coming before the Senate soon. Not sure when. I could not find the link to the article; the link took me only to the Hill home page. So, anyway, I’m posting his alert to these 5 awful treaties here so we can watch for them and/ or write the Senate-critters:

OBAMA’S SNEAKY TREATIES

By DICK MORRIS

Published on TheHill.com on February 7, 2012

President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are entering negotiations over — or seeking ratification of — five treaties that could radically limit our national sovereignty and the reach of our democratic institutions. Particularly scary is that the treaties, once signed and ratified, have the same status as constitutional law and cannot be altered or eclipsed by Congress or state legislatures. And their provisions must be enforced by U.S. courts.

Those who wish to preserve our sovereignty and democratic control over our future must rally to block these treaties, either by pressing Obama and Clinton not to sign them or by blocking their ratification.

• International Criminal Court — Clinton has reversed George W. Bush’s policy and entered into negotiations over U.S. participation in the court. Specifically, the leftists who are sponsoring the court wish to create a new crime of “aggression,” which is essentially going to war without the approval of the United Nations. If we submit to the court’s jurisdiction, our presidents and Cabinet officials could be prosecuted criminally for going to war without U.N. approval. This would, of course, give Russia and China a veto over our military actions. Clinton says she will stop our military’s hands from being tied, but we all must realize that once we accept the International Criminal Court, we go down a slippery slope. The court could even prosecute Americans who have been cleared by our own judicial system.

• The Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) has been signed, and the Obama administration — with the aid of RINO Sen. Richard Lugar (Ind.) — will push for its ratification as soon as Lugar’s primary in Indiana is over this year. LOST requires that the United States pay an international body half of its royalties from offshore drilling. The body would then distribute the funds as it sees fit to whichever nations it chooses. The United States would only have one vote out of 160 regarding where the money goes. LOST will also oblige us to hand over our offshore drilling technology to any nation that wants it ... for free.

• Small-arms control — Clinton is about to negotiate on a global ban on export of small arms. It would only apply to private citizens but, of course, most small-arms deals come not from individuals or private firms but from governments, specifically those of the United States, Russia, China and Israel. The treaty would require each nation to adopt measures to stop exportation of small arms. It is easy to see how this could be a backdoor way to require national registration of all guns and to assert federal regulation over firearms. It would also require the registration of all ammunition to track its source once a gun is fired. The Second Amendment be damned!

• Outer Space Code of Conduct — Under the guise of stopping debris from accumulating in outer space, the European Union has enlisted Clinton in negotiations over a code of conduct. The code would prohibit activities that are likely to generate debris in outer space — space littering. The code might inhibit or prohibit the United States from deploying anti-missile missiles on platforms in space, denying us the key weapon we need to counter Iranian, Chinese and North Korean missile threats. European leftists reacted angrily when G.W. Bush opted out of the ABM treaty banning defensive weapons. Now they seek to reimpose it under the guise of a code of conduct.

• Rights of the Child — Even more fanciful is a treaty Clinton plans to negotiate setting forth a code of rights for children, to be administered by a 14-member court set up for the purpose. The draft treaty obliges rich nations to provide funds for shelter, food, clothing and education for children in poor nations. This provision could create grounds to litigate to challenge the level of foreign aid we give as inadequate to meet our treaty obligations. Already, leftists in the United Kingdom are using the treaty to attack welfare cuts by the Cameron government.

European liberalism is advancing — masked — by way of these treaties. Defenders of liberty must say no!

LOST uses Admiralty Code as law. It absolutely trashes US rights.

I used to think people who pointed out such things were zomie apocalypse types.

They pull these off and the US is over.

Controversial Monsanto thread.

There are those who are concerned about manipulations of the food supply and agribusiness. Others are concerned about modern day “Luddites” trying to block the progress and development of technology.

Whenifhow has some very interesting links at post 44. The second one in particular shows the intersection of people who hold positions at Monsanto AND the government.

Pinging the Agenda 21 folks!

Sheriff in Florida

This came in email today about another sheriff hung with good equipment, and according to even the sometimes less than accurate snopes, it is deemed TRUE!

SHERIFF GRADY JUDD

Take heart - someone in Florida is doing something right.

Looks like Florida has a sheriff like Arizona has.

Polk County Florida Sheriff - “You kill a policeman it means no arrest ...no Miranda rights ...no negotiations ...nothing but as many bullets as we can shoot into you ...PERIOD.”

An illegal alien, in Polk County , Florida , who got pulled over in a routine traffic stop, ended up “executing” the deputy who stopped him. The deputy was shot eight times, including once behind his right ear at close range. Another deputy was wounded and a police dog killed. A state-wide manhunt ensued.

The murderer was found hiding in a wooded area. As soon as he took a shot at the SWAT team, officers opened fire on him. They hit the guy 68 times.

Naturally, the liberal media went nuts and asked why they had to shoot the poor, undocumented immigrant 68 times.

Sheriff Grady Judd told the Orlando Sentinel: “Because that’s all the ammunition we had.” Now, is that just about the all-time greatest answer or what!

The Coroner also reported that the illegal alien died of natural causes. When asked by a reporter how that could be, since there were 68 bullet wounds in his body, he simply replied: (BEST QUOTE EVER) ... “When you are shot 68 times you are naturally gonna die.”

All States, counties and cities have already gone down the road of relinquishing local control to get Federal taxpayer money from w-a-y back.

People don’t complain when they are getting stuff they agree with. Now that it is stuff they don’t agree with they go all conspiracy theory.

This is called hypocrisy.

If you are going to complain about Federal money bribes corrupting local decision making you need to look at the whole sordid history of this, not just Agenda-21.

You make a good point about the Federal money bribes, and it certainly is part of the fabric of the insidious progressive attack on America for a long time.

However, I would submit that the Agenda 21 is not in any way shape or form a conspiracy. It truly is not just limited to the Federal government of the US, but is international in scope. I grant it has been painted by the media as being a conspiracy theory for a very long time, but please look into it and I think you will find on the UN’s own website, that it IS an open statement of their intent. I think your casting about the term “hypocrit” for those who are waking up and resisting is somewhat misplaced, if I properly understand what you are saying.

As you read about Agenda 21 with the lens of a freedom loving individual, you will see that they intend to take control of every aspect of life. There are links on the Agenda 21 thread (see the link to the Agenda 21 thread above) to these pages on the UN site, or do your own google search. Good buzz words to start out with are “sustainable development.”
