Confirming my long held opinion that McCain was a shadow candidate, not meant to win but to give credence to the “Messiah”. among the unwashed masses.

Cindy McCain, Palin writes, looked like a "queen" and conducted "herself like royalty." "I'd never seen people with so much Louis Vuitton luggage, so many cell phones, and so many constant helpers to do hair and makeup," Palin writes.

It says something about the limited horizons of Bristol Palin's life that she found meeting a rich family such a shock. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

The Palin beauty lies in their being down-home friendly people.

Uh oh. I’m not sure if we need a food fight between Bristol Palin and Megan McCain just now, even if Bristol wins.

Ah, well. What will be, will be.

I saw what passes for ‘integrity’ from McCain following the election. IMHO, that man has none. He was more than willing to throw Palin under the bus. That man voluntarily did; what any normal human being could not be forced to do.

Given the role model that Megan grew up with, versus the role model that Bristol grew up with - it would take a mountain of evidence for me to credit Megan with any point; while I’ll take Bristol’s word for things at face value.

I support any attempt to tell the truth about McCain. He is everything the GOP does not need.

If Sarah Palin were intent on running for president I doubt that this book would come out. Who needs the distraction of a celebutard cat fight in the middle of a presidential campaign?

No fan of Meghan, but definitely not a fan of this kind of cheep gossip.

Palin writes that she had a "sneaking suspicion I might need to watch my back" the first time she met Meghan McCain. She says the senator's daughter "ignored" the family during their first meet-and-greet and always seemed to be judging them. "Every time we saw Meghan, she seemed to be constantly checking us out, comparing my family to hers and complaining," Bristol Palin writes.

FWIW, looks like Bristol was doing her fair share of staring and judging too. And as for watching your back, it seems they both needed to look out for that.

Catty. So very high school.

I don’t dislike Bristol Palin like I dislike that McCain daughter, but I wish they would both keep a low profile. This isn’t helpful and not very mature. Let’s forget about the disaster that was McCain and get the jug ears, pinko out of office.

As much as I hate the whole McLame crew and would love to see this bash fest, this can't be a good idea if Palin is planning on running. This is just some more MSM gossip rag BS instead of sticking to the issues. Right out of the gate Palin is going to have to respond to silly questions, especially since she just endorsed Juan in '10.

I voted for McCain and had to hold my nose the whole time.

The ONLY two reasons I voted for him was,

1) The alternative (shudder)

2) Palin

a memoir from a twenty year old criticizing other people...a must read /s. If the excerpts are any example, who would waste time reading such garbage...other then meghan mccain? Why don’t they just find a sleazy, hole in the wall bar and mud wrestle.

I don’t know about Bristol. First there was the pregnancy, okay could happen and does happen to a lot of girls. Then the on again off again Levi story. Recently announced reality series with her moving in with the Massey brothers (baby in tow) totally disgusts me. Now the “tell all” book from a 20 year old, which from the excerpts sounds like it’s written by a 20 year old...my opinion, 20 year olds shouldn’t write books about their lives...they’re brains aren’t fully mature till they’re 25, they should at least wait till then :)

Just as Reagan had his prodigal son, Sarah Palin may have a daughter of similar ilk.

I believe Bristol Palin is going to learn some lessons the HARD way.
