More than 24,000 e-mail messages sent to and from Sarah Palin during her tenure as Alaska's governor will be released Friday. Join The Post in digging through them. We are looking for 100 organized and dilligent readers who will work alongside Post reporters to analyze, contextualize, and research the emails. Think of it as spending some time in our newsroom.
Our hope is that working together, we can efficiently find interesting information and extract new stories that will lead to further investigation. We dont know what well find, but we want you to be ready and open for the challenge.
You will communicate with us virtually and work in small teams to make light work of reviewing the email threads. Notice the patterns. Identify recipients and senders. Connect specific emails to larger themes and events.

Amazing to me that the stench of corruption is so poweful that the employees of WaPO and the NYT don’t even smell it emanating from their own newsrooms.
This is blatant. Rename the newspapers Pravda on the Potomac and Pravda on the Hudson.

I liked this comment -
“Rake your own muck.”
so.....when we find examples of intelligence and competence, they’ll print that right?
Yeah if an email has the word global communist 2012 in it;it would be a shoe in to be picked. Even better to say you represent a group of 100 by that name.
Drudge has this up now. Was up since yesterday.
Our founding fathers are rolling in their graves but hey as long as american idol and dancing with the ridiculous stars is on; no one gives two hoots.
The NYSlimes is doing the same thing.
Once more, Sarah Palin is creating more jobs than President Urkel.

Are they hiring interns? I have a newphew who is good at spotting gramatical and spelling errors to prove that the write is an uneducated moron...
Maybe he can help .... I’ll ask him to flood WaPo with tons of mistakes he finds — typos, missed commas, wrong hyphens, etc.
Ugh, what a sickening thought.
These leftist are too lazy to do their own research.
“Come join us and receive your free BROWN SHIRT and knee high BLACK BOOTS.” Joeseph Goebells, Associate Editor, Washington Post
“I can think of several Freepers who would be thrilled to help out with this effort.”
Makes ya wonder sometimes don’t it?
It's pretty bizarre. You'd think that an American patriot of Sarah Palin's caliber would garner 100% approval and support on a staunchly conservative website, but such is the power of ignorance and lies, that even some of our own think she's not worthy.
We all know that you can easily alter anything on line...You can remove or add words... easily. And this is what is going to happen...and there’s nothing anyone can do about this other than to dismiss the entire thing.
It’s like Weiner. A minor is now being questioned about her email exchanges with Weiner. Even if he did nothing wrong, it looks bad.
The intent will be to make Sarah look bad... I doubt very much that they will find anything in those emails....but they will fabricate the illusion that there was wrong doing.
And another thing. This makes me angry, and I think it will make a lot of Americans angry. She may come out of this stronger... because Americans hate the press and they hate the press doing this.
I think that’s exactly what happened. I “signed up” just to let them know what I thought of the “story” and their approach to “journalism”. When I went back, they’d changed it to “we’re inviting EVERYONE”. Yeah, right. Like they didn’t get completely flamed for their lameness.
