A Georgetown University professor said Donald Trump is engaging in "retroactive bigotry" when he questions President Obama’s intelligence and background and called on Republicans to either embrace Trump or distance themselves.
"This is racism by inference," Eric Dyson, a prominent African-American academic, said on CBS' “Face the Nation.” “Skepticism about black intelligence and suspicion about black humanity have gone hand in hand throughout the history of this country in feeding the perception that black people don't quite measure up."

“The reality is that Barack Obama has been called to account by a man who has nothing near the intellectual credibility or the social standing that the president has,” Dyson said during the interview.
On Friday, Trump called “our leaders” stupid. The real estate mogul has also questioned Obama’s college record.

Dyson said, “We (African-Americans) are constantly questioned as to our legitimacy - whether we belong or not - and Barack Obama is our big brother in that case. ... An assault on him is an assault on everybody."

Why does he not just answer the unanswered questions about our President's background? And then editorialize about the motives of the questioner? No way for the Democrats! They do not even understand fundamental supply and demand economics. How does Mr. Obama satisfy the constitutional requirement to be a Natural Born Citizen?
The substance of interest is the dearth of knowledge about the man we elected to serve as our President. Generally there is a lack of common sense and too many unsupported assertions about the qualifications of Mr. Obama. Such a dearth of knowledge about a sitting president is unprecedented!
There are lack of information and access to Mr. Obama's writings, his kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport, medical records, selective service registration records, social security number irregularities, files from his years as an Illinois state senator, his Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records and adoption records.
This information lockout continues in his "transparent" presidency, with organization after organization having to sue under the FOI Act to get basic information about meetings, attendees, motives of people elected and appointed to govern us.
But, go ahead Dyson, keep being yourself. After all, you are a professor.
Because even Doonesbury had a strip doing the same back in the 70's ("Have you found out who your father was yet, Clyde?")
