Good find kabar....the Nordyke COLB looks rough, chaotic, and official....something way too clean and neat about Obamas.

My son was born 6 months ago, and we had alot of fun examining it and making sure it is safe in case he want to run for POTUS....but it was messy and chaotic looking, as it should be.

Nordyke born on 5th, other dates: one on 7th and all others on 11th.

Because the Nordyke one was copied from the original for the Nordyke folks in 1966 and carried around by them since then, and Obama's was copied from the original record in 2011.

I’m around Barry’s age, and was born in NYS. And even accounting for the difference in states, size of the municipalities, and hospitals, my BC doesn’t look anything like that COLB. FWIW.

Why does the background not show in the centers of letters and why is there a white “ghost” image around all the letters? Zoom in on the File Number text to see what I mean.

Is the background printed at the same time? I would think not. It is certificate paper, and photocopiers, even color do not copy white.

Also, in box # 16 The K is higher than any of the rest of the line. Box 6b also has a misalligned letter, but that one is consistent how typewriters work. Box 16 is not. Correct me if I am wrong.

block 7e on the Nordyke BC states Honalulu, Oahu - the newly released Obama BC has Honalulu, Hawaii on 7e. Strange.
Both have a different Local Register signature also. Is there more than one person who signs as Local Register?

That looks like an original COLB, whereas what 0bama is showing is still some kind of copy of an original (a microfiche blown up and projected onto security paper?). Interesting that the birth hour on the copy the WH just released has the same odd looking characters in the P.M. hour of birth for authenticity.

The sequence number on Obamao’s day-earlier COLB is 61-10641.
