(CNN) The White House released President Obama’s original birth certificate Wednesday.
The surprise release follows recent and sustained remarks by businessman Donald Trump, among others, that raised doubts as to whether the president was born in the United States.
Now can the birthers please shut the hell up and lets get about attacking this sorry sack of crap on his policies? Oh yeah and to “The Donald;” You’re done, shut up and go home.
I wonder if the ‘premptive strike’ is because of where The Donald has gone AFTER the BC. Corsi’s book is coming out...and Trump started out with the BC...and moved onto the college transcripts...so...is the early release of the BC (if this is even real...not a forgery) could it be to say ‘look away’ see...nothing was ‘there’ with the BC...so why is Trump/Corsi questioning the transcripts, passport?

Asked and answered many times here on FR. He didn't. The money people cite was the total paid to a specific law firm, which handled other things besides eligibility lawsuits.
Whatever those lawsuits cost, it wasn't money spent "not to show it". It was money spent filing the required responses to being sued by other people. No suits were filed in order to block the release of anything.

I didn’t say anything beyond “Obama is not a Natural Born Citizen.”
I didn’t say anybody was going to do anything about it.
The fact that he isn’t a Natural Born Citizen is an easily repeated sentence, in a ready-made sound bite package. It should be repeated thousands of times over the next few months.
The bottom line is that the sheeple will buy it.
I’ve never thought the birth cert was anything but a red herring. The question remains: what was the Framers intent in inserting ‘natural born citizen’ into the Constitution for the Office of POTUS, and POTUS only.
The long form being released shows father’s place of birth as “Kenya, East Africa.” Without documentation that BHO-I was naturalized pre-8/4/61, that would mean BHO was born with dual allegiance. There’s ample contemporaneous documentation that dual allegiance is precisely what the Framers wanted to avoid for POTUS.
If I were Trump I’d be pretty proud and honored, too. But this either resolves for all time that dual allegiance means nothing and we can have anchor babies walk into the Oval Office, or at some point the question of the term’s meaning has to be resolved.
