Certificate of Live Birth Time Stamp Revealed
Snopes.com ^ | June, 2008 | Snopes

Posted on 04/23/2011 4:26:06 PM PDT by TommyDale

Snopes' Certification of Live Birth shows supposedly issued in August, 1961 but the Revision date is 11/01. What is REALLY interesting is the light blue time stamp that reveals the actual date of issuance as Jun 6 2007. See the picture for the highlighted area showing the time stamp from the back side where it bleeds through. Hold it up to a mirror and you can see the date!

Ah Hah! Red Steel’s document is now in question, as it lists white, but not caucasion.

I got the whole PDF book of 1961 Vital Statistics . It's real.

An old FR thread from 2009

The United States did not use the word "African" for birth certificates in 1961 - Obama's does!

Vital Statistics of the United States ^ | 1961 | U.S. Dept. of Health

"VITAL STATISTICS OF THE UNITED STATES 1961 at

 http://www.nber.org/vital-statistics/historical/nat61_1.CV.pdf

says on page 231 under the section "Race and color" the following:

"Births in the United States in 1961 are classified for vital statistics into white, Negro, American Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Aleut, Eskimo, Hawaiian and Part-Hawaiian (combined), and "other nonwhite."

"The category "white" includes, in addition to persons reported as "white," those reported as Mexican or Puerto Rican. With one exception, a reported mixture of Negro with any other race is included in the Negro group; other mixed parentage is classified according to the race of the nonwhite parent and mixtures of nonwhite races to the race of the father. The exception refers to a mixture of Hawaiian and any other race, which is classified as Part-Hawaiian. In most tables a less detailed classification of "white" and "nonwhite" is used.""

Fred you got anything to add?

If the word was changed from Negro to Africa, what else was changed?

Doesn't matter unless the change was material. Listing as African a racial classification that was originally listed as Negro (if that's in fact what happened) is immaterial.

The certificate is just a database printout. Who knows how they store the parents' races in the database? Typical relational database practice would be to store some short code in each record, which would reference a tiny external table showing facts about the corresponding racial classification, such as what text to print on a CoLB.

All official documents in the early 1960s, be it a driver's license, police report, or hospital birth certificate would have used the term "Negro." Game. Set. Match.

I made that point two years ago when we at FR were hot and heavy on the trail of the elusive Obama LFBC.

It says "Negro" on my birth certificate, as well as all of my siblings, and we were all born between 1953 and 1963.

No one, but NO ONE used the term "African" to describe race in those days. And they STILL DON'T.

It's a blatant mistake by the incompetent forgers.

African vs Negro is a, uh, red herring. The document in question would be a printout from the database as it sat at the time of printing ... 2007 if we trust the blue datestamp. By then enough complaints would have been registered with the State that someone did a mass change to the database to transform Negro into African. Or is it now Black? I don't know, I don't get the memos.

Either way, this document, real or forged, does not answer the "native born" question.

Wow. I don’t remember anyone ignoring the economy

We didn't ignore it, but our message was clearly centered around HUSSIEN-WRIGHT-AYERS. As you seem to point out yourself, no one outside of FreeRepublic cared.

and the problem with the Ayers thingie was that HARDLY ANYONE would even give it a listen.

IOW, they didn't care.

We can walk and chew gum at the same time. It takes nothing away from the economy as a political issue to also talk about birtherism, for whatever reason.

As I said, pursue it if you must. Let's just remember that not everyone places the same importance on that issue that we do, and their votes count too.

In 1961, I find it difficult to believe that a man’s “race” would have been listed as ‘AFRICAN’, which is a modern PC term. In 1961, they would have used ‘NEGRO’, ..........

To the right of the parent’s races there seems to be a lot of dead space. I could be wrong but I thought I had seen the parent’s place of birth on other HI Certificates of Life Births of other people.

Could it be possible that the place of birth of the parents could have been digitally removed (photo shopped) from this particular document?

I know this is not the long form but there seems to be a lot of blank area. Maybe it’s normal. I guess we would have to compare it to other Certificates of live births of others from HI born at the same time.

That’s why the “long form” original birth registration must be released

Important detail, yes...could I please ask you to post this information to a research thread, link below:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2702976/posts

It seems obvious where the ‘African’ came from, doesn’t it? From the ‘application’ that was lodged, and obviously kept on file at the HDOH...NEVER CERTIFIED.

I think the seal gibberish conclusively substantiates an actionable charge that prior to his election, Obama published one or more demonstrably forged birth documents in order to defraud the voting US citizenry. Add to that the evidence that Barry never objected more than a decade ago to any of the multiple stories, for which he had been interviewed, about his Kenyan birth.

As with OJ's failed criminal charge, nonetheless a cival charge was successfully launched that established OJ's culpability in palpable, financial terms.

Evidence concerning Barry's fraudulent civil service filing is strong, plus his documented use of multiple social security numbers shows him to have an decades-long history of filing falsified (taqqiyah for the Muslim BHO) federal documents. (Butterdezillion is firming up evidence that may yet conclusively show that the microfiche record of news reports of Barry's "Hawaiian birth" are forgeries!)

I'm no lawyer, but these things seem actionable, perhaps by LTC Lakin or Ambassador Keyes, if not the rest of us voting citizens.

Go find a black person born in hawaii in 1961. Look at the birth certificate. Match it to the one Obama produced.

There is your answer. I cannot believe that Obama was the only black person born in Hawaii in 1961.

As I've said from the begining, all one needs to see is that one tell-tale mistake by 21st century forgers. All official documents in the early 1960s, be it a driver's license, police report, or hospital birth certificate would have used the term "Negro." Game. Set. Match.

True. The 1960's was decade of the "negro" which was used as race. But we must also keep in mind that HI did not become a state until a few years before Obama's birth. Other nations use the term "African" as a race. We should somehow confirm that this indeed was the term used in HI in the early 1960s before we jump to any conclusions.

We would have to find a Certificate Of Live Birth of a black American born in HI at the same time to compare.

I don’t doubt the provenance of the document or its assertions. However, we know that the Hawaii DoH used “caucasian” rather than “”white.” So the document is of little help, IMO, because we can establish that Hawaii didn’t conform to the document’s categorization of the most populous race in U.S.
