Earlier in the week, I posted a video of reactions from students when asking them to sign a petition calling for the redistribution of GPAs.
I thought I would also upload some of the raw, unedited conversations I had with the students and post them here for you guys to see. Enjoy.

I think that may depend on the major. No one sails through a heavy science/math curriculum and gets a 3.25 GPA without effort.
I recently read a guide for professional writing. It stated that common acronyms, likely to be understood by a majority of the intended audience, do not need to be spelled out. I believe "GPA" would fit the definition of a "common acronym" since most of us have attended school at some point. That's the criteria editors use.
OTOH, were I to speak of "MHC", I would have to spell it out because few here on FR would understand it. Heck, even spelled out (major histocompatibility complex), I doubt many understand it.
Thank you.
My problem was that I spent too much time at the Bulldog Tavern.
BTW, I used a similar analogy with my 6th graders (I teach Old Testament at my parish), in a 5 minute primer on socialism. They didn't like the idea of "spreading the wealth."

Marking for later viewing.
I got it! Even before you told me what it was. I’ve often said to be a doc, all you need is a good working knowledge of the alphabet!
They won't like the idea of taking what belongs to someone else.

I have always thought a great way to teach college students about socialism/communism/redistribution would be to tell the students that the average grade is a C (2.0). If 20 students are in a class, there are 80 points to distribute. Then, out of 20 students, a five person panel is assembled to distribute the grade points to the other students.
In my classes (How to use M$ Office), if you just do your homework on time, you are pretty much guaranteed a B. However, just a few students do their homework at all, much less get it in on time.
But let’s see them gnash their teeth when they suggest getting rid of grading on the curve.
“This drive me up a wall FR postings using acronyms without at least once translating their meaning. That even incluse (includes) GPA.”

GPA. That acronym is not like USA, or IRS, which in the US particularly is universally understood. If your addressing students, and workers in education that would be the case but the audience of this publication has a much broader base.
I found the criticism of my comments shallow and dissapointing including one “cute” reply who because there was a typo sufficeint to imply the author was “drunk” ,,,sorry not during lent.
In fact I wonder if reaction to this presenation could be understood by foreign readers without explaining what GPA is and how it works.
Romans 1:28
And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind...
Satan/the left knew what he/they were doing when they banned God from schools.
Conservative kids need to be taught to fake out liberal “educators” in order to get their grades and their diploma. It’s pretty easy, with a properly educated and trained child, for them to write/present from the viewpoint that the teacher demands, without believing it.
I bet you could get a majority vote in favor, however, if you said that only those grade points above 3.25 would be redistributed to those with less than 2.75...
The '60s Marxists have done a fantastic job in destroying education at every level in this country.

the audio is terrible, can’t hear clearly. too much wind noise.
Sorry, one of my friends that was recording could not hold the camera still for some reason. That is why a few of the clips are incredibly shaky, while the others are much better.
