Just reported on Sykes radio show.
Just freaking great...
The socialists have the media, entertainment, education and the courts. But they’re still going to lose!
If the judge doesn't have a reasonable argument, consider impeaching him.
That is corporate law, isn’t it? Does it apply here? Are you saying that the county judge is beyond her limit of power?
Ultimately, this goes to the State Supreme Court? We have judicial elections in April with one incumbent conservative running for State Supreme Court and the unions are out to get rid of him.
I thought that the advance notice provisions were what they were claiming and that their claim said that proper notice had not been published “X” hours/days prior to the public meeting.
are judges subject to recalls?
did anyone read the caselaw? seems this judge did not.
leftists will claim this as revenge for Bush V Gore.
Why doesn’t governor Walker just ignore the court like our fake president does?
“Unfortunately, both sides have Sam working for them.”
Do you have an example of “both sides” doing this?
But the talking point has been created - now the libs and unionists can claim this was shown to be illegal by the courts, while failing to mention that the ruling was promptly overturned.
So does Sturm Ruger. And Henry Winchester. Heck, in my house, that list is too long to post here, and that's just in my bedroom!
Bring it, weasels. I'll be waitin. No brag, just fact.
;-\
So the judge has already told us how she’s going to rule.
Like somebody said, it’s time to bring up the whole repair bill and get the thing passed even with the dems there, now that the dems aren’t violating the law in order to stop the election from taking effect.
based on the preliminary injunction being granted, the judge has already decided the case.
so much for separation of powers.
The judge will have other leftist justices playing along with them, who slaps them down?
This caught me by suprise. Not because it happened, but b/c I didn’t give this a thought. Can Walker overrule this judge? Or what happens now?
This is from a Progressive Wisconsin site from the last election about the judge”
Update: Observers fear Van Hollens election lawsuit will cause problems
The GOP is trying to throw the election into confusion by ensuring that massive provisional ballots be cast, as well as massive delays. Van Hollen ignores this reality and raises the specter of voting fraud.
Now, come word about missleading absentee ballots sent by the McCain campaign and voter caging.
We have a corrupt Attorney General Van Hollen fronting for the national GOP against Wisconsin’s Government Accountability Board (GAB) that is sticking up for Wisconsin voters.
Van Hollen’s DOJ Complaint was filed with Dane County Judge Maryann Sumi’s office.
So who is Maryann Sumi?
Sumi is listed as a supporter of former Wisconsin Supreme Court Judge Louis Butler on his website for his unsuccessful reelection bid.
Butler was defeated by the GOP political machine on April 1 by former Burnett County Circuit Judge Michael Gableman.
Sumi has been on the bench since 1998 and enjoys a reputation as a fine jurist and political liberal, informed observers say.
I suspect it winds its way to the Supreme Court. Right now the court tilts right, but the left is massively mobilized for the April Supreme Court election which could tilt it left.
I've had my doubts from the beginning that this budget repair bill would ever be implemented. We are basically going to have hold our ground in a series of elections (recalls, state supreme court) first before this can actually become Wisconsin law.
Typical leftist. Can’t get your law passed by vote, have it rammed down everybody’s throats by judicial fiat.
