BJ's at $2.79. BUT. Butter is $3.00 lb. I don't get it.

They also have Land O Lake American cheese for $3.49/lb. BUT. All other cheeses are about $7/lb.

Some places are $2.99, others like the large-chain grocery stores are in the $4/gallon range.

Eggs here are outrageous: $3/dozen. Cheese is $6-$7/lb. Beef prices I don't even look at anymore and I don't buy it either.....

We can drink only acidophilous (without lactose) and we eat only aged cheddar cheese (since it has a very low lactose level).

Acidophilous has always been higher than untreated milk but some of it today has a month and a half shelf life ~ so we can now buy the larger containers.

Since the federal G”gansta” has destroyed most family farms through price fixing and grants, where only the huge corporate farms make the cut, ie, if the milk flows through the pipe w/o clogging, I don’t expect there will be much free market competition, add the cost of Ohbamma gas for production and transportation, probably say 10 bucks a gallon within 5 years..at that point who is milking who...

$2.29 was the sale price yesterday. The current list has been $2.99 recently, but usually one of the three main grocery chains here has it on sale for under $2.50. The annoying thing is that half gallons are almost the same price as gallons, and I rarely drink a full gallon before it goes bad.

At Wal-mart, typically ~ 2.59 (for skim milk).

At local “Drug mart” with memeber card I buy it for 2.19, at least for now.

Reg gas at Shell is 3.49 - but no mention in marxist media.

Getting tough for the home team these daze....

$1.98 at Aldi. No growth hormones in it either. Good product.Their price has held steady there for a long time, while other other stores are charging almost twice as much in some cases.

Here in Pennsylvania, we have a Milk Marketing Board which dictates the minimum price for milk- and right now its pegged at about $3.80/ gallon- can’t buy it legally for less in the commonwealth.

I buy it by the half gallon, $2.08 for half here in Pittsburgh at Shur Save.
