Sorry girlie, used Sir to be polite won’t be again.
Hey dude who tries to get us angry with cop did bad postings, you could spell Glenn’s name right, if you cared enough about him...
Glenn
Beck
Anyone here listen to Mike Church on the Patriot Channel?
Nothing to do with the thread at hand, just thought I would ask as Glens morning show follows Mikes...
I wonder how many here would think Mike Church was a nutjob...
Check him out sometime...
I'm one of those spoken of also..the wealthy...just as soon as I pick up my SS check at the mail box, I'll buy some of your offsets. Can you deliver in person, or must they be shipped FedEx?
In real life these things seem to be for the most part parallel movements, but there are certain players in common to both movements such as code pink and bill ayers/ bernardine dohrn.
What seems to be going on is that both the marxists and the islamists see the value in working together to topple western civilization. Then who knows whether they think they'll split up the globe, or coexist, or the muslims will demand conversion, tribute or death, or whatever. Maybe they haven't thought it through that far.
But Glenn does blur the lines a bit more than necessary. The biggest cooperation seems to be in the US marxists teaching the Muslim Brotherhood how to foment revolution. That's what happened in Egypt. They even printed and distributed a handbook for people on the street.

Last sentence. YOU used a capital. Now you’re a liar too!
No worries. I never expect politeness from liars.
BS. It is RECOMMENDED that you put away 2 years supplies so you will have resources in case of emergency or loss of a job. It is not required. You are free to ignore the recommendation.
( I am not even Mormon).
But you're very quick to make an authoritative and incorrect pronouncement on requirements of the Mormon faith.
I’m quite aware he claims to be a recovering alcoholic...ask your FR friends about a “dry drunk”!
It is the nature of empires that we cycle through various phases. Right now things are....well, dreadful. But I have hope in people such as I find on this forum, and I have hope that God is with us always.
I will never give up. Never, never, never, never, never.
(first post) I used to love his radio show, very informative and entertaining. He isn't any more. The TV show, watched for awhile just can't do it any longer. What I can't figure out is, the people who hang on every word and are completely invested in every thought that comes outa his head. He is not God.
(second post in response to you) I never said anyone said he was. I said he is not God. The way some prattle over him, one would have to wonder. I probably should have said a god.
(third post to you) Apparently you are not getting it. I never said anyone said Beck was god. I repeated that to you. I further said I should have said a god, not God. Really how hard is that to read? I am not bearing false witness, because I did not say people have said. I will repeat how people prattle over him, one would have to wonder, Sir that is not an accusation it is however a ponder.
(fourth post to you) Here is my first post, you made the charge show me were I said that FRs have said Beck is God. I used to love his radio show, very informative and entertaining. He isn't any more. The TV show, watched for awhile just can't do it any longer. What I can't figure out is, the people who hang on every word and are completely invested in every thought that comes outa his head. He is not God.
(last post, one can only hope) Sorry, I did not insinuate or imply, you however must have inferred. I did not say "god" with no capitol I said "a god". We are done here. Have a good evening.
So now you are calling me a liar, well ok then.
I guess it would make more sense to have included the posts to me, oh well.
Is this a Glenn Beck Caucus thread?
Why is our monetary policy devaluing the dollar and spending to the point of no return. It is only going to get worse. If Glenn seems upset today it is for good reason.
I am not sure. Apparently you can never ever say you don’t listen to him anymore. However, the replies I am getting certainly make my statement a possibility. It is like reading “Alice”.
Jim, sadly you’re another person who hasn’t a clue that a United States of Iran is taking shape in the Middle-East.
From Iran down to the horn of Africa, across the holy land to the Pacific Ocean, we’re seeing the Muslim Brotherhood manipulate the masses. The average guy on the street, figuring his plight is about to get better, will instead be trading off one despotic leader for a despotic collective.
It’s brilliant really. The Muslem Brotherhood instills unrest. The nations explode. Many people die, none of them members of the Muslim Brotherhood. Then the MB walks in with their flavor of the day Imam, and everyone rallies around them as they solidify their control, and start issuing the fatwahs.
Is it going to be better for women in the region? Let’s talk about their immediate future. They won’t be going to school. They won’t be working outside the home. They won’t be showing their faces or anything else in public. They will now be stoned if they are raped. They will be stoned if they reveal their face too. Is this the progress you were hoping for? Evidently so.
How are you going to like it when there’s an Imam in charge of all these nations? How are you going to like it when they all hate us, refuse to give us oil, and focus on Israel and the West for future destruction? Is that better?
Instead of having one Iran, we now will have ten. Instead of having isolated despots, we’ll now have a network of them working closely together. With Iran driving most of this, these nations will likely share Iran’s missile and nuclear developments.
Nobody was saying Mubarak or Gadhaffi (God forbid) were perfect. What they were saying is that what will follow them will be ten times worse.
What is Europe’s reaction when they are looking down the nuclear gun barrel in five years or less? Do they solidify with us further, or go their own way in their best interests?
I’d love nothing more than to think all these nations are just about to turn enlightened. I’d have to have a head full of mush to believe such a thing.
Look at what is taking shape in Egypt. Then extrapolate out across the region that same model. It’s going to be an Israel hate fest, with as many of them as possible selling oil to China instead of the West.
On the bright side, you’ll have plenty of time while you’re spending $15 to $20 bucks per gallon of gas, to look back on these times and know that you had solidarity with the masses on the street.
Perhaps you’ll come up with some game plan then to rescue them from what you knew was their salvation. And perhaps at some point, you’ll even beging to grasp what some of us were trying to tell you all along.
Actually, I think it’s like WATCHING “Alice in Wonderland”....beyond reason and belief.
I just don't think these specific players have all that much influence or have the first thing to do with Egypt or Libya. I agree they are a destructive element and are always agitating for socialism, but Beck is conflating a series of loose connections into a grand conspiracy.
I agree with Beck in one way, I think things are likely to get much worse - but unfortunately, in his limited way, he is helping that to happen. In this country we have union/leftist demonstrating and shutting down governments - they are entirely acting as the rioters in Greece, France, etc. Beck should not suggest they are ANYTHING like the protesters in Egypt, Libya, etc. In Africa and the Middle East, the demonstrators are mostly fighting FOR something democratic or at least against tyrannical dictators, in this country our union/leftist protesters are fighting AGAINST democracy. The unions/leftists WANT to piggyback on what is happening in some of these authoritarian countries - and Beck is essentially conceding the point.
The reason I do agree with Beck that we are headed to trouble is mostly because I don't believe this nations people are in any way ready to tackle the debt, I think the Republicans are going to get killed for trying to cut anything, I believe people are more sympathetic to the union demonstrators than the Wisconsin Republicans. Further, I believe most Americans are still entirely wedded to the social welfare state. For these reasons, I think major trouble lies ahead - but I don't see it as some major Islamo-Communist conspiracy. I simply think the American people are soft and weak and continue to be suckered by the left and the mainstream media.
Somewhere around the time Beck held his rally, which seemed more like a sermon than anything else to me, he seems to have changed and almost become apocalyptic. Telling us to get our survival gear and canned goods comes off as a little crazy. Either way, Beck is an important voice and better than much else on TV, but I wish he would get back to more what he was doing when he first hit the airwaves.
Yep, I think this post wins that prize. I've now read 217 comments and still have no idea what the OP was posting about. Bunny>pancake
