So far we’ve seen a “demonstration” devolve into a riot, and I have to wonder if the riot is going to escalate into a civil war.

Whose interests would a civil war in Egypt serve, do you suppose?

So much for keeping Israel out of it......

Egyptian state TV is talking about a Qatari-Israeli conspiracy to bring instability to Egypt through Al Jazeera.

Mubarak trying to blame Israel now.

El Baradei was an Iranian stooge, back when Obama was just a gleam in Soros’ eye....

exactly

these pro Govt according to the media are plain clothes cops.
Did it occur to the corrupt media that many in the country do not want to hand over their country to the MB and islamic terrorists.

I’m so pissed off that now our policy is to piss on allies and to help the spread of radical islam and not a frigging word from the GOP.

This is not about freedom, this is about the far left and MB working together to take over a powerful muslim country on Israels doorstep.

The media if you’;re reading .
YOU ARE A JOKE, YOU’RE NOTHING BUT A DIRTY MOUTH PIECE FOR YOUR MESSIAH AND THAT GOES FOR MANY AT FOX.

You call yourselves media and the press but you’re not. Th white house and the far left thugs laugh at you, think you;re stupid and they;re right.
Still at least you can go to the white house cocktail parties and get a photo with your messiah

Jordan’s Islamists say new PM must step down(still not happy)
Yahoo/AP ^ | 2/2/11 | DALE GAVLAK

Posted on Wednesday, February 02, 2011 12:57:13 PM by EBH

Jordan’s powerful Muslim opposition on Wednesday urged the country’s newly appointed prime minister to step down, calling him the wrong person to introduce democratic reforms and tackle deepening poverty and unemployment.

Also, Jordan’s King Abdullah II made a surprise visit to an impoverished northern village. It was his first such trip since the unrest broke out in neighboring Egypt, and appeared to be an attempt to defuse popular anger over the country’s troubles and portray himself as a caring leader.

On Tuesday, Abdullah named Marouf al-Bakhit prime minister, bowing to public pressure from protests inspired by those in Egypt against President Hosni Mubarak.

Hamza Mansour, a leader of the opposition Muslim Brotherhood’s political wing, rejected al-Bakhit’s nomination, saying he “is not the right person for the job.”

“Al-Bakhit is a security man, a former army general and ex-intelligence official. He doesn’t believe in democracy,” Mansour told The Associated Press. Instead, he said the country needs “a national figure who can tackle Jordan’s serious economic and political crisis.”

Jordan is grappling with a soaring foreign debt estimated at $15 billion, an inflation rate which has swelled by 1.5 percent to 6.1 percent in December and high unemployment and poverty rates — set at 12 and 25 percent respectively.

did you hear that guy on FOX with Kelly?
He was saying how some pro Govt protesters caught admitted to being cops after they were beaten and no follow up from Kelly.

He then said about the MB and how they want peace, , well we know that is B/S.

He said that they had weapons and swords and they protect themselves with barricades, yea right pal and you’;re so innocent.

Kelly never once followed up and questioned him on why the MB is in Egypt when they are banned.
Why is he talking to them when they have radical terrorist ties etc ?

VERY very very interesting, uncle ike, thanks for the ping!

Puts me in the strange predicament of leaning more toward Abbas's reaction, because it isn't BHO's.

Libya welcomes $100 a barrel oil
yahoo/reuters ^ | 2/2/11

Posted on Wednesday, February 02, 2011 1:01:57 PM by EBH

OPEC member Libya rejected today the need for OPEC to meet this month in order to discuss raising production, saying that oil at $US100 a barrel is justified by a weaker dollar and rising food costs.

Libya’s top oil official Shokri Ghanem hailed higher prices, a stance that was at odds with moderate OPEC members such as Saudi Arabia, which have maintained that they favor prices below current levels.

The head of the International Energy Agency reiterated his call for OPEC to be “flexible” in its policy.

Brent crude hit $US100 a barrel yesterday for the first time since 2008 on concern that oil flows through Egypt could be disrupted and that tension could spread into other big producers in the Middle East and North Africa.

I will pray for your friend’s family. I know it’s not easy. You have to bribe every crook at every checkpoint, and pay all the goons at the airport.

Wouldn’t Canada be open to them? There are many Coptic Christians there...and in New Jersey as well.

I guess these groups over here need to get organized to receive their brother and sister refugees.

I didn’t know this. This may be why he says he is resolved that he will die in his beloved Egypt.
