The main concern for the US in these countries will be our embassies. Security should be beefed up or if we do not do that then we should remove all personnel from our embassies leaving behind a security force with the fire power they need in order to protect the embassies from invasion by rebel forces.

If the Whitehouse asked for the embassies to be protected like this, then they deserve kudos: it was a sensible and laudable precaution.
It'd be the first time the left ever used tanks to protect a compound.

I hope it’s the Egyptian military trying to protect our embassies, but it wouldn’t surprise me if we see a repeat of Iran during the 70s.
