Democrats and Media are not Sarah Palin’s Biggest Problem
self | jimjohn

Posted on 01/16/2011 7:10:26 AM PST by jimjohn

Okay, the dust has settled and even rank-and-file democrats know that Sarah Palin and others on the right had nothing to do with the massacre in Tucson on January 8, 2011. Yet we know the attacks on Palin won’t stop. We get that. Thank you media, for detailing for us how irrelevant she is by taking the only meaningful statement on the matter - a 7+ minute video and text message - and reducing it to a record breaking two-word sound bite. Priceless. But some of us also know there only one reason the media and the left can continue this fruitless line of attack – which exposes Palin biggest problem.

After watching it, it dawned on Brit Hume that only a presidential candidate would bother to make such a professional recording. Ya think?

Sometimes the man is a little slow. LOL

Sarah could speak with the words of angels and still the left would ‘find’ something to complain about.

...she is very divisive.

You're repeating propaganda.

Give an example of her "divisiveness".

You are missing the point. Badly.

All we have now are “self serving lunatics”

The only hope for conservative values resides in the Tea Party activists and those who stand with them...if you haven’t noticed (and obviously you haven’t) the republicans in Washington do NOT like the Tea Party, they do not like Sarah Palin (the most conservative candidate we’ve had since Ronald Reagan...who, BTW, they despised)

There are two wings of the republican party, the grass roots conservatives who occasionally get thrown a bone, and the patrician, country club, cocktail party republicans who are socially liberal and economically ignorant. They tend to be more pro big business (as are the liberals) while conservatives are more pro free market - there is a huge difference.

Not all our problems have arisen from the democrat party.

Nixon gave us plenty of big government...so did Bush.

I agree with you about democrats, but you are blind to the traitors in our ranks.

We are not shifting the blame...this article is about Sarah Palin and her biggest problem...which is the elite establishment Republicans who do not like the great unwashed masses she represents and appeals to. They are elitists first, putting an R behind their name doesn’t absolve them from their cowardly actions.

Sarah Palin’s biggest impediment to becoming president is the Republican Party. This is obvious to anyone with a pulse. Wake up.

Said another way,

The Democrats are hard core leftist pretending to be centrist. OTOH, The Republicans are centrists pretending to be hard core conservatives.

I can destroy all your whining about Republicans not coming to the defense of Palin in a few words:

Republicans are not doing as you say because Palin is not conservative as she is not for deporting illegals, acted against “big oil” (capitalism) in Alaska. Illegals have to be deported or the whole U.S. will be to the left of California soon: WE ALL KNOW THIS. So I can do what you all do against Republicans against Palin “Why hasn't Palin come out strongly to deport illegals “? See I'm sinking ships with my loose lips which I shouldn't be doing because the enemy sees all. I am for big oil . I am the extreme capitalist for lazies fair capitalism and for deporting illegals.

Actually we are in a imperfect world and so I do support Sarah Palin for President And Reagan is my hero even though he made a mistake with Amnesty . And any individual or party can be destroyed thus as I did from the right. You all use unrealistically high standards to bash Republicans but never say anything about who is and has been destroying the country for the last 130 years the democrat party

Newsflash to you, Democrat_media: There is a presidential election coming up in 2012.

This thread is about Election 2012 and Governor Sarah Palin. Your attempts to hijack it with your concern about the Republican Party are falling on deaf ears.

The *GOP* has not come to her defense and yet she is largely responsible for the successes of TEA Party Republicans last November. The *GOP* should be not only defending her, but praising and backing her, but they’re not serious about real change. They much prefer the status quo because they know Sarah Palin can’t be bought-off and she’s not willing “to go along to get along.”

Republicans may not support Palin, but if she is the nomimee I think they and I will support her.

I support Palin, for President even now. However no one is perfect. I’m not sure if she is for deporting illegals or for Amnesty and that is the major issue to me.

... she is very divisive and we need someone who will be a strong leader without driving away those who are actually looking for someone other than Obummer as 2012 draws closer.

She is exactly what the country needs, and at this particular point in history.

Moderates of any flavor or labeling do not usually win in Crisis Eras. We are in a Crisis Era, which is a once per natural century, or once per lifetime, generational period that almost always includes a major economic crisis coupled with a major war (such as a world war or civil war), such that the overall shape and direction of the nation (or nations) is undeniably altered.

Devisiveness is the order of the day. We will either follow an authoritarian path, with the communist left, into into the abyss of a New Dark Age; or we will follow a pro-Freedom, pro-Constitution leader into another century of continuing relative freedom and relative prosperity.

You cannot "moderately" fight a wildfire that is consuming you and everything around you, as well as consuming every other place and thing to which you might flee for safety.

Follow a "moderate" leader, or pursue a "moderate" path, and you will lose everything. Follow the authoritarian path, and you will forfeit your rights to life, liberty, and property.

In which of these previous Fourth Turnings in History would you have preferred to have been on the "moderate" or "losing" side?

Sadly, I suspect that candidate Palin and even nominee Palin will receive all the GOP support that Christine O’Donnell received. Fortunately, that will help to keep her on our side and keep her from being co-opted like Romney and some of the other inside the beltway favorites. President Palin will be far better than anyone imaginable other than perhaps Bachmann or DeMint.

The letter nails the issue to the a$$ of all half-a$$ed RINOs. Excellent. If they can not stand the requirements of the Constitution, then let them fail or resign.
