One of the tenants now occupying the ancestral home of the Emanuels testified that she never saw any of the boxes which were placed into storage. Some obvious storage spaces were entirely vacant. Emanuel and his wife left behind a bed and a piano, but she was unaware of any of the other boxes that Emanuel testified were in the house. Didn’t Bela Lugosi mumble to his realtor, Renfield, about “three boxes” that were to be shipped to Carfax Abbey in “Dracula”?
The importance of this testimony is that the continued storage of possessions in the family home would be an important possible fact indicative of an intention on the part of Emanuel to return to Chicago at some future date. Taken together with other facts, this could be interpreted in a manner suggesting that Emanuel was indeed a resident of Chicago eligible to seek the mayoralty in February of 2011, provided that he maintained the residency for one year prior to the election date.
The objectors represented by attorney Burton S. Odelson also located a tasteful videotape showing the interior of the Emanuel residence which was listed for sale by realtor, Charlotte Newberger, working for Rubloff Properties. Newberger, herself, has been a veteran political activist in the Lakeview community, which may explain how she obtained the listing, but Emanuel insisted that the advertisement was made in error.
If you can place full faith in credence in that assertion, can we expect the Russians to reclaim Alaska since the sale of the territory which came to be known as “Seward’s folly” was all made in error. The late czar really only intended to temporarily lease the fishing rights outside of the port of Sitka, which is not to be confused with the Three Stooges’ sidekick, funnyman Emil Sitka.

The Chicago residency demand is bizarre.
He will, unless, as I’ve read in several places, he’s burned all his Chicago bridges, and there’s some payback going on. If the Chicago pols don’t want him, I doubt he’ll succeed. Maybe Obama needs to sweeten the pot a bit more.

If the people of Chicago are stupid enough to elect Rahm the greasy to be their mayor, it won't bother me at all.
I can't remember the last time I was in Chicago, and I now purposefully avoid going there if I can help it. If Rahm the greasy becomes the mayor, I will absolutely not go there ever....so I will never be in his jurisdiction.,,

That realtors licemnse should be in jeopardy for a false listing. Someone should check the Chicago MLS listings.

Don’t know why Rahm’s residence is such a great issue. Obamas’ wasn’t, to become president, and he’s not even a citizen.
