It’s aimed at the TSA’s “partners in security”—the hapless fliers holding their coats, belts, keys, shoes, laptops and liquids at airport checkpoints.

That’s a scary reality. One wonders why the terrorists haven’t done just this at any airport. Seems like they would cause more damage than in a plane.
So why are we just now implementing new security procedures? A year later? Why weren't they doing "pat-downs" starting on January 1, 2010?

IMHO Obama and the TSA need to be figuratively crucified on this.And it needs to happen ASAP. Custodial janitors without the status of law enforcement have no business violating the 4th amendment rights of Americans, perpetrating warrantless searches on us with no probable cause, all because the president has an ideology that classifies profiling and intelligence data as racist?
I say we get them now, and lay them low.Call it a pre-emptive strike. Call on all TSA workers to go on strike or resign for being required to perpetrate these crimes against innocent Americans.
Call for the impeachment and resignation of Obama, Napolitano and Holder. Pistole is being offered as a sacrificial lamb.His head is not enough.He will be replaced by someone worse.
Only those who fit the terrorist middle eastern profile should be required to be scanned or patted down. All of this search and assault crime by TSA is being perpetrated to avoid that strategic requirement. This idiocy will also guarantee that a terrorist attack over the holidays will be successful.SHAME!
This crime is not only wrong, it is designed to cover Obamas A$$ should an attack be successful, while guaranteeing the success of an attack ( We can absorb an attack....Obama......we did all we could etc.....).
This is very serious business. The lives of many Americans depend on our turning this back to real security based on profiling and intel. The people's safety needs to trump presidential fascist political correctness.Right NOW there is no airport security.The gates are wide open for terrorists to succeed, a point lost on most in this scuffle.Get adults back in charge of the security of America.

There was just something on Fox News about the blob scanners that don’t show all anatomical details. The technology is patented here and belongs to the government, the inventor said, but the TSA has not chosen to use it. It is used in Europe.
I just had to go through the scanner twice and then the pat-down. Overkill.

In the video he says “place all liquids less than 3 ounces in the tray”.
I guess that means I can take several gallons as long as I leave it in my carry-on.

In another article, they say that the TSA searches “less than 1/2 of 1%” of the people. In other words only 1 in 200 get searched and the search is totally random. Does anyone REALLY think that randomly searching 1 in 200 makes us safer?
Let’s put it this way, the Muslim terrorist with a bomb has a 199 out of 200 chance of walking right past the screeners. And if they LOOK Muslim, the odds of them being searched probably went down to about 1:1000 or less.
