Conservatives never envisioned such a wide intersection between the police and the unsuspecting public. It happens regularly, though, because so many of the supposed conservative standard bearers live in their own ivory towers, so to speak.
Ya know maybe all this is just to get us used to going into those camps that don’t exist. You know, marching passed guards, getting “handled” without questions, being a bunch of sheep. Once we get mind-numbed we will stop paying attention.
There is A LOT more going on here than TSA people with the feelies. It has an end, and it is not to protect us from terrorists.
It is only a matter of time before someone like me gets shot over something like this, and that may well start the domestic pogrom/Gestapo-style imposition of force Obama has been pushing for.
Here is his private army, directed against the citizenry for 'our safety', composed of perverts and fellow travellers. Somehow that sounds familliar...
You do know what the Muslims would do if this were happening to one of their own don’t you? They would be chanting, screaming and threatening bodily harm. They would be pampered, and given preferential treatment afterwards too. That is exactly what the other passengers should have been doing, RAISING HOLY HELL!!!!!!!

Lets get the facts straight first. Before the video started the boy went through a metal detector and didn't set it off but was selected for a pat down. The boy was shy so the TSA couldn't complete the full pat on the young boy. The father tried several times to just hold the boys arms out for the TSA agent but i guess it didn't end up being enough for the guy. I was about 30 ft away so i couldn't hear their conversation if there was any. The enraged father pulled his son shirt off and gave it to the TSA agent to search, thats when this video begins.

Harassment, spying, whatever. Conservatives usually believed police to be too busy with actual trouble makers to get themselves concerned with Joe Average Citizen Who Generally Means Well.

My point has been that if you empower government to “get” the hippies, or whomever you don’t approve of you are building a power structure that can be used against you when the wheel turns and the other guys grab power. That is the basis of our Constitution. A great distrust of government power.

I’m of the opinion that the majority of TSA agents are uncomfortable doing this and that they only do so because they don’t want to lose their jobs. It’s just policy run amock.
No, but that was the premise by which it was founded and empowered.
People all over enthusiastically supported giving them the power to decide what hoops you had to jump through to get on the plane.
The clear lesson of history is that power granted will be abused, sooner or later, and that the sacrifice of liberty for security doesn't work long term.
Americans have traditionally cast their losses of liberty in the best light (otherwise those losses would not have been permitted) of the believed intent of the current Government without taking into account the potential for abuse of the power granted by other, later iterations of government.
There were people who pointed out the TSA was a farce when they started taking nail clippers.
I have bloody well had enough of this crap.
