Ok, so any alaskan who is at least 30 and has been a citizen 9 years can get their name on the write-in list in Alaska by filling out two forms. That buries the Princess’ name and makes it harder for her to steal the election.

Is it Liza Minnelli or Liza Mizlowski?

“I didn’t look at the links but the exhortation says, “if you are an alaskan resident”. It would make sense that you can’t be a write-in for alaska senator without being an alaskan resident.”

Can you be an illegal Alaskan resident?

Maybe not even an Alaskan. He need only be an inhabitant of Alaska "when elected;" there seems not to be even a requirement that he be registered to vote in Alaska.

I have done absolutely no legal research on the point, and have not read the Alaskan forms. However, based solely on a "plain English" reading of Section I of the Constitution, it seems that he need be "an Alaskan" only "when elected."

According to the socialists, if you overload a government system, then it has to be expanded. By Jove, that works for lists of write-in candidates, too. So Alaskans, expand the list with your name today! Cloward-Piven: It’s not just for leftists anymore.

I would expect any write-in candidate of similar name, would likely trigger that old “voter intent” shuffle. /Elitist liberal defender of the oppresed little people mode on - Obviously, a write-in candidate who is not a legal resident of Alaska and who didn’t qualify in every single eligibility factor, would cause dis-enfranchisment of a poor dumb voter who, in reality, intended to vote for Murkowski.

Glen Biegel (a GOOOOOD guy!) is currently putting up the information on getting onto this list. No filing fee, no questions, no problems. Just go download the .pdf file and fill it in. It CAN BE emailed if you can sign an email.

Last count I read, there were now 56 "write-in" candidates. ANYONE GOT THE FINAL FIGURES?

Will the Miller Campaign take this to the U.S. Supreme Court?

Good work redhead!

From the form you posted it requires that you be a resident
of Alaska to qualify. And of course citizen of US.

I am sure there are dozens of FReepers living in Alaska.
Can the mods please alert all Alaska Freepers?

This needs to be faxed to election board ASAP.
