A film portraying the real-life stoning of an Iranian woman is opening in London despite protests from the country's government.

It depicts a brutal form of punishment still sanctioned by Iran's current hard-line regime.

The film's director claims some European governments have been reluctant to support it - fearful of antagonising Iran's regime, already at loggerheads with the West.

The film The Stoning Of Soraya M is based on the true story of a woman brutally killed after being falsely accused of adultery.

Soraya is stoned to death in her Iranian village under Islamic Sharia law.

The film's director, Cyrus Nowrasteh, has dedicated the screening to Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani currently facing execution by stoning or hanging in Iran for adultery.

Problem is that G*d never directly commands anyone to do anything. Its always a person who thinks G*d commanded
something, which is where the mischief starts.

That was a tour de force in stupidity. Every method you have named, was designed to hasten the final result, and increase the humaness of a terrible event, that many believe is sometimes needed.

And don’t play naive, everyone on earth knows why women there are stoned to death. So you know good and well that the punishment doesn’t fit the “crime”. The only people who dont know are “wise princes” from the middle east.

Wow. You should run for office.

Nah... I'm too honest to succeed at it.

Why don't the supporters of the Islamic Iranian mullah regime, in Australia, tell us: What “a real life” stoning to death of men or women could or should look like in a documentary.

From the Article: >>>”A film portraying the real-life stoning of an Iranian woman is opening in London despite protests from the country's government.”

What's the matter with Iran?

They should be proud of their Sharia law implementations.

If they expect to bring it to the USA (that is their plan after all) they should man up and let the world know how they enforce Sharia law.

The Iranian government should publicly stream live all of the brutal aspects of Sharia law as they are acted out.

Come on Iran, MAN UP is this is so wonderful that you want it for the whole world!!

Simple: out of your list, only stoning is lengthy, brutal, sadistic torture -- eventually (time uncontrolled) supposed to result in death.

The real underlying issue that permeates all of Muslim culture and sharia law is the supremacy of the male. I view this incident in that light, barbaric or not.

The honor of the male must be sustained, period. Hence, stoning of women, honor killing, etc. In this case, she was accused of adultery but not proven in any sense of “due process” as we would expect in the West.

Most likely, she was raped by a man, and as most of these Arabic cultures tend to respond, SHE was the focus of the blame. The dishonor then is ameliorated by stoning the innocent to death and, oh by the way, any further claims by the victim to the contrary are silenced forever. How convenient!

****Remember that in Luke 3:14, Jesus commanded to do violence to no man. How can one not be a pacifist to be a true “Christian” if we are to follow those words?****

Luke 3:14 (Amplified Bible)

14Those serving as soldiers also asked him, And we, what shall we do? And he replied to them, Never demand or enforce [a]by terrifying people or by accusing wrongfully, and always be satisfied with your rations (supplies) and with your allowance (wages).

I suppose you mean in our times. I agree. However, in times before Jesus, He commanded many people to do many things. The 10 commandments come to mind, as well as other specific things.

What should the penalty be for adultery then?

We ( the Christian world)evolved , these animals did not.

That's what the liberals say about us. I want no Muslim influence or immigration to the West , but I certainly won't criticize them on liberal grounds for what they do to punish what they see (and what we should still see) as a grave crime (adultery).

Yeah, stoning’s just like lethal injection after twenty years on death row, that’s the ticket! And who knows - you may be right - that bitch may have really have BEEN committing adultery!

[He commanded many people to do many things]

According to ancient teachings and chronicles
none of which can be proven or disproven by any
application of scientific method..

All religion is in the realm of belief.
