California might be gazing into a $20 billion deficit abyss, but it doesn't stop them from hosting their own version of "Who wants to be an illegal alien millionaire."

Fernando Ramirez, a 24 year old illegal alien was arrested for molesting a 6 year old child in Orange County.

Fernando Ramirez, 24, was in jail after being charged with molesting a 6-year-old girl at a local park. He eventually pled guilty to the lesser charge of battery against a child.

He was held in Orange County Central jail, where other prisoners let Ramirez know that they took exception to child molesters by beating the snot out of him.

According to his attorney, Ramirez suffered brain damage and now needs help walking. Attorney Mark Eisenberg also claims that his client has been left with an intellect of a 4-year-old child.

Prior to the beating, he was reported to have had the intellect of an illegal alien child molester. So it's not all bad.

For his efforts, Ramirez was awarded $3.75 million, plus an additional $900,000 in medical expenses. That's pretty good money for a an hour's work. It's California's early version of the DREAM Act.

His attorney scooped up a cool million for a short closed door meeting with County Supervisors:

Um...beating people up is a crime, too. That said, the prisoners who injured him should have been sued, not the state.

What the hell is California doing? Isn’t it the feds jobs to hand out money to illegal alien child molesters? I think it’s “unconstitutional” for a state to do the job the feds are supposed to be doing.

No, the prisoners who beat him should have had their sentences shortened.

All child molesters deserve the death penalty. It is a crime that he was awarded tax payer money as well.

Ironic: Schwarzeneffer just signed Chelsea’s Law before he went to Asia.

Mandatory life without any chance for parole for the worst sex offenders on first conviction—literally a One Strike Law, which I think this scum would have qualified for.

Still has absolutely nothing to do with the title: it doesn’t say where /when /how CA paid him $4.5 mil to rape kids. He didn’t want to rape them for less than $4.5 million or what?

Or maybe the sensational headline is factually wrong?

Okay, so you don’t like the way the thing is worded, and THAT is the only outrage you can muster over this story???

Really?

Headline makes no sense.

As for the story it was posted yesterday too. Looks like the state felt that they had to settle because he was harmed while in custody and, is alive, on expensive care. If he was dead probably $100K would have sufficed.

Bottom line is that the state can be held responsible for what happens in jail, the punishment for child molestation...drunk driving....writing back checks etc doesn’t include beatings, killings and rapes.

Justice would be done if the victim sued and got every penny from this scumbag.

It’s not a prisoner’s job to carry out a sentence. Nothing good can come from leaving justice in the hands of society’s poorest decision-makers.

A crime is still a crime even if the victim is himself a criminal. You can’t break into a guy’s house and loot all of his stuff once he’s been convicted for murder. But even so, like I said before, it makes absolutely no sense to punish the taxpayers for this incident. If anyone’s going to be punished for this, it should be the prisoners.

Besides, they did it all wrong. They should have focused their efforts on his OTHER head.

You are correct.

The justice system is so corrupt and wrong it basically needs to be scrapped and started over, anyway.

I am totally against mandatory life sentences. If they deserve a sentence that harsh, they should just be executed. The death penalty is so underused that’s a crime in itself.

Life sentence means he lives on the taxpayer dime. No good. Justice system is broken, needs to be scrapped and started over.

lol. Your right but that was not even the point of the post. It was about how ridiculous that he gets 4 million from the state.

I’ve seen your graphic before and it is a good one. It remeinds me of what I’m seeing in what used to be nice neighborhoods where I live.

We live in a time where illegals have more rights than us legals.

It’s time to change the oil in Washington and get rid of Obama and Holder.
