You can imagine these people feel as if it is there 9/11 no doubt. They are finding DOA”S on the streeets now...horrible and so sad...death rates are rising. Very hard to stay with this news.
My heart just sunk. Just saw a video of a home burning as the epicenter. That home is just opposite the back yard of dear friends on Earl Avenue. I can't reach them. They are the sweetest couple anyone could know, and I'm praying they made it out.

I don;t think it would take long to turn off, but you have to let all of the gas between the two shutoff valves escape.I don’t have any idea how far apart the shutoff valves are could be miles.

I understand it is quite a process to turn the gas off, not like turning your faucet off....and that they couldn’t get to the pipe because the fires were so hot initially.
Onyx :( death tolls are creeping up now..they are finding people on the street.......reported earlier 911 calls as people trapped in homes.
Do you think maybe these things have always been happening and we only hear about them now ‘cause of the internet? I don’t know but frankly I’ve never heard of a house exploding unless it was a meth lab somewhere out in the desert of Calif.

Possible transformer blew but the news was very vague as there were fires in home tracks on multiple places.

I am thinking of changing my tagline to something like this since the shooting death of Erik Scott in the Costco in Las Vegas. Every stupid LEO thread needs a reminder of how far beyond "protect and serve" law enforcement has been allowed to get. And I know there are good LEO's out there. Still does not justify the abuses we see more and more.
That aside, they are probably there to do the investigation into the cause of the explosion.
Tomorrow will be a very sad mornign for many I fear. Though am grateful for those who have escaped.

Well sinkholes have been cropping up all over the earth lately..Do we have increase in seismic activity? volcanic? I don’t think anyone knows, but we do know that earth is going through some chaotic changes.
