If I were looking for a church, I’d be very much inclined to look into the Mormon brand of Christianity based soley on the lowlife type of people on this forum who lie about, distort it and ridicule it.
Well then; an investigator of TRUTH such as yourself will be quite able to POINT OUT any...

Hey, on the one hand, Mormons who came & assisted you with your garden was good solid neighbors helping neighbors theology -- the kind that will impress you.
But if you're forever going to judge what people have done on the surface and never look under the hood...and I've never seen you be specific on correcting exactly what is supposedly a "lie" or a "distortion" -- which means you simply in engage in shotgun accusations (what? didn't your parents...perhaps RC? ever tell you that if you're going to launch into shotgun accusations to be a bit more specific?)
If people, seemingly good people, came & helped me with a key yard project. And then I found out later that they believed their good deeds landed them into godhood status, I'd wonder what their true motivation was for their good deeds. Was it some boomerang kickback where they get divine brownie points?
Listen. Anybody who's auditioning for godhood is going to be on their best outward behavior -- and that includes being a seeming good neighbor.
Jesus Christ highly complimented the outward behavior of the Pharisees by saying that unless somebody's outward righteousness exceeded their's, they would "in no wise inherit the kingdom of heaven." (see Matthew 5:20) Vigilante, you've done what Jesus did: He complimented the outward behavior of the legalists of His day.
But there you stop; whereas Jesus went on and described the inward nature of these legalists. He described them as whitewashed sepulcres (tombstones):
Allow me to quote Jesus directly: You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. 26Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean. 27"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men's bones and everything unclean. 28In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness. If you know ANYTHING about true historic Christian beliefs you know that these run contrary to everything we believe and therefore PROVE that the LDS is not Christian.
However if these are lies and distortions PROVE it...
