TEHRAN (AFP) – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad unveiled on Sunday a new long-range drone, dubbed Karar, which reportedly can bomb targets at high speed, state television reported.
Television footage showed the president applauding as a blue cloth which had been covering the drone was pulled back to reveal a short aircraft painted in military-green with the words "Bomber jet" written on its side.
Images were then broadcast on television showing the aircraft flying.
"This jet, before it heralds death for enemies, is the messenger of salvation and dignity for humanity," Ahmadinejad said in his speech marking the unveiling of the drone in a hall at Tehran's Malek Ashtar university.
The unveiling of the aircraft comes as Iran marks on Sunday its annual Defence Industry Day.

Definitely does not look stealthy. It will be seen on radar easily. Yeah, why isn’t the bomb in the nose? Having it underside will create more drag and slow it down.
I would not put it past the Iranians for this to be a hoax. After all, they posted pictures of thier modern air force a couple of years ago.......which turned out ot be 1/48 scale plastic models.
Frankly, the mockup does not appear to conform to the description, at least in the “long range” department. Notice how short and thin the wings are. This bird cannot carry much fuel if it needs to also haul a substantial dead weight external bomb.

I think maybe you’re referring to Ahmadinejad - we were talking about the Ralph Cramden guy standing next to him.
BTW - Ahmadinejad’s so-called PhD is very doubtful also - it was bought & paid for by the regime
