CLEVELAND -- Dread of the unknown hung in the air as Lynn France typed two words into the search box on Facebook: the name of the woman with whom she believed her husband was having an affair.
And there it was, the stuff of nightmares for any spouse, cuckolded or not. Wedding photos. At Walt Disney World, no less, featuring her husband literally dressed as Prince Charming. His new wife, a pretty blonde, was a glowing Sleeping Beauty, surrounded by footmen.
"I was numb with shock, to tell you the truth," says France, an occupational therapist from Westlake, a Cleveland suburb. "There was like an album of 200 pictures on there. Their whole wedding."
--snip--
France, 41, was not completely blindsided by her Facebook discovery, which happened in January 2009. That fall, she had grown suspicious when her husband began taking frequent business trips, even leaving the day the couple's newborn son came home from the hospital. Once, she found his passport at home when he was supposed to be in China for business.

Apparently, wife 2 knew already. Wife 2 confronted her at a hotel where the lovebirds were staying a few years before the actual wedding.
I trust there are ordinances prohibiting that now, yes?
Actually I have been to Cleveland one weekend. Nice town. Stayed at the Renaissance Hotel where I photographed a major award proudly displayed in the lobby:

He must have magic or money.

Probably loaded with charm. I know the type.
Well, come to think of it, he is apparently Prince Charming.
My soon to be ex-husband...the day after I got home from hip replacement surgery...kissed me goodbye, told me he loved me and was going to a friend's house and then called my daughter and told her to tell me he was leaving. He recently confessed that he never stopped seeing his ex-girlfriend the entire 16 years we were married, had moved into her apartment and that they had already discussed marriage (which I have on tape). He also left me with all the bills and refuses to provide any financial support.
My friends say I am showing amazing restraint considering I have my CHL and own a .45 Ruger. They also joke that he left me while I was temporarily disabled because he was afraid I would hunt him down, LOL!
However, IMHO, he isn't worth going to jail or even losing my CHL over, I'll just let my divorce attorney bleed him dry slowly and painfully ; )
Wow, what a scum bag of a husband, I’ll pray for you, being unfaithful to me is the unforgivable sin. It’s the ultimate betrayel. I hope he gets what is coming to him.
Not to be confused, please don’t shoot him, then he wins. Take the high road (that doesn’t mean you can’t bleed him dry with your attorney).
She’s obviously an idiot but in her defense child custody stuff here in Florida really is that messed up. My extended family has a case in Tampa where the CPS folks were notified and finally convinced that our relative was a pedophile, so after several years they finally took the two little kids away - and placed them with the pedophile’s parents who do nothing to keep him away and have cut off ties with the rest of the family, including the pedophile’s first set of destroyed children, rather than him.
Florida CPS is so screwed up, if I ever had a run in with them my kid and I would be over the border into the next state so fast it wouldn’t be funny.
“...saw in an Indians game, enjoyed the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame, managed to avoid igniting the Cuyahoga.”
Your clinging to that old bit of news proves you can’t educate the willfully ignorant.
"Lord, thank you for sending me this heartless blood sucking lawyer. Bless him as he has blessed me."
I hope he has a lot because Wife 1 deserves it all.

However, you’re making comments about the river burning, as if it were possible to do so today. It’s not.
Remembering the holocaust is important, but making references to present day, active concentration camps in Germany is inaccurate at best.
You just want to be small minded and take cheap shots at Cleveland. Heaven knows there’s enough about Cleveland to bash, but being inaccurate just makes you look like a fool.
And I can’t dissuade you, so carry on.
Westlake is not Cleveland. From Westlake to the banks of the Cuyahoga is 15 miles.
The Westlake mayor and council are all Republicans, I believe.
Of course, he got mad, blamed me and started whining about how much money I was costing him. I told him "I have one suggestion for you darlin' and it seems to have worked well for you for years...go cry on your girlfriend's shoulder about how miserable I make your life. You'll be hearing from my attorney" and hung up on him.
Sure it is past history. Still, it doesn't alter the fact that Cleveland may have a somewhat unique claim with respect to having a river that actually once supported combustion. That you can not deny.
You could use a sense of humor, and grow some thicker skin. After all it has been 41 years.
“You could use a sense of humor, and grow some thicker skin. After all it has been 41 years.”
Yep, and there’s a whole wealth of good holocaust jokes too! I guess as long as there’s an emoticon, it’s cool, right?
Joking about something that happened 41 years ago, making reference to it as if it were present day, is harmful to the city of Cleveland. Not everyone has been to Cleveland. Image is a fragile thing, and Cleveland’s image is already bad enough.
It’s not thin skin, it’s practicality. You small minded fool! ;) (See, I used an emoticon, so it’s really kind of clever to slam you, not mean.)

I believe this would be Mr. France’s house. 7400 square feet.
(Trent Dilfer used to own it, Browns fans.)
