I know, I know, but it's another week and the EPA is still in existence.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is considering a crackdown on farm dust, so senators have signed a letter addressing their concerns on the possible regulations.
Read the letter to EPA signed by 21 senators including Jim Inhofe and Tom Coburn
"It's plain common sense, we don't want to do anything detrimental," said farmer Curtis Roberts. "If the dust is detrimental to us, it's going to be to everybody. We're not going to do anything to hurt ourselves or our farm."
Roberts, a fourth generation farmer and rancher in Arcadia, said regulating dust in rural areas will hurt farmers' harvest, cultivation and livelihood.
"Anytime you work ground, you're going to have dust. I don't know how they'll regulate it," Roberts said. "The regulations are going to put us down and keep us from doing things we need to be doing because of the EPA."

Hmmm....plain common sense. That's a commodity that doesn't exist in the Beltway. Maybe time to ship them some dust to clear their brains.
I think Calif got in on the act a couple of years ago through CARB regulations...
If they would hurry up and regulate human flatulence, maybe we’d finally get a little Fed action down here on the border.
The mere existence of the EPA is unconstitutional since Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution does not specifically list regulating the environment as an enumerated power. The EPA must be abolished!
Out of control government entity run by radical idiots.....
“The EPA must be abolished!”
Yeah.... Like that’s gonna’ happen. The EPA hasn’t hammered us too hard yet. However, I’ve been waiting for them to make this move for a little over a year and a half on this particular issue. It’s been in the wind for awhile (so to speak).
I’m figuring they’ll overplay their hand with this one. Personally, I’d like this one to be attempted. They’ll have far more to lose, than they can hope to gain when the dirt farmers get riled up.
I guess now that Global Warming is out, the New Dust Bowl is in.
Where are the “Save The Dust” tee-shirts...???
Let’s save the dust by buying all our food from the poisonous Chi-Coms.
As Pete Stark said, there is literally NOTHING that the federal government can’t do. The GOP MUST realize that the federal government is so far away from what the Constitution provides that the ONLY way to restore it is to start massive slashes of government agencies beginning with the EPA, Deprt of Education, Dept of Energy, and Dept of Commerce. Those four alone would cut over $150 BILLION from the budget.

I thought for years that most of them were retarded morons. They’ve gone out of their way to prove it. To the original story, add this;
EPA declares L.A. River ‘traditional navigable waters’

The epa will shake down the farmers that’s how they will regulate dust!
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
When the EPA lets me write off “my dust” as a deduction we will call it even. It’s like gambling debt. You can only write off losses if you have documented loosing tickets that off-set your winnings. It’s stupid.
