Former USDA official Shirley Sherrod, who claims she was falsely smeared as a racist while she herself falsely smears Republicans and Fox News as racists, said this morning that she would like to see BigGovernment.com, the website that made her famous, shut down for the good of the country.
CNN's American Morning reported on Sherrod's demand:
She said if Breitbart's site were shut down, "That would be a great thing, because I don't see how that advances us in this country ... at a time when we should be trying to look at how we can make space for all of us in this country, so that we can all live and work together, he's doing more to divide us."
Sherrod also told CNN she is considering suing Andrew Breitbart, the owner of Big Government:
"I really think I should. You know, I don't know a lot about the legal profession, but that's one person I'd like to get back at. Because he came at me. You know, he didn't go after the NAACP. He came at me."
Yesterday, in an interview with the Democrat front group Media Matters, Sherrod smeared Fox News as wanting to take blacks back to the Jim Crow era:
... they would love to take us back to where we were many years ago. Back to where black people were looking down, not looking white folks in the face, not being able to compete for a job out there and not be a whole person."
In the same speech given in March to the NAACP that initially got Sherrod fired by the Obama administration, Sherrod smeared Republicans as racists for opposing Barack Obama's government takeover of healthcare:
"Some of the racism we thought was buried, didn't it surface? Now we endured eight years of the Bushes, and we didn't do the stuff these Republicans are doing because you have a black president."
Sherrod is being annointed as a saint by the media for her claim to have overcome her own racism. She is even being compared to Nelson Mandela. Yet to this day she speaks in starkly racist terms of "my people" and "his own kind" while flinging the race card as skillfully as Jesse Jackson at her perceived political opponents.
She also has revealed a leftist totalitarian streak. It's no wonder the communists from ANSWER and Code Pink were out supporting her yesterday:
we know the corrupt media are disgusting and tell lies but the way they have gone about defending this woman, ignoring the NAACP and OBAMA, ignoring why the video was really shown and it was to do with the crowd agreeing with her racism not Sherrod(even fox, and some so called conservatives) are being idiots.

it came out the farmer is dead, then it was his wife defending her but we have no real names, we have no clue if this is the real woman, heavens sake we have no clue who this woman is as no one has looked at the past on this and their dealings with this racist?
Why does she use present tense sometimes when talking about her racism but then uses past tense too? Surely she would use past tense all the time if she is past racism.
Why does she now use the class card when she is supposed to help poor and rich not just the poor?
So many sides to the story and yet the media even for them have gone way over the top covering for this woman , even coming out with what a fine black woman she is

The video was about the NAACP audience cheering her racist remarks. The rest of the video is irrelevant. The left is keeping the "victim" card alive to distract from the AUDIENCE and the real important part of this story.
The NAACP attacked the Tea Party for being racist. This video proves the NAACP is obviously the biggest racist organization of today. LISTEN TO THE AUDIENCE CHEER HER ON for denying the cracker his due. Get it?

Here’s my theory on events;
Somebody earlier in the thread said this thing smells of a WH PsyOp. It wouldn’t surprise me. Not with this WH. Breitbart’s been on their radar screen since ACORN. I think they decided to try something, anything to take down Breitbart, and I think his getting his hands on Journolist’s archives was the clincher. They’re afraid folks, and the good news about something like this? There’s a trail, and with the people and knowledge base on this site (We broke Rathergate folks!) we can nail the slime behind this too. Somebody set Breitbart up.
We need to know the following:
1. Who edited the tape of the original speech?
2. Who gave the tape to Breitbart?
3. Where does the dog walk back to on both? My bet? Rahm Emanuel.
For what? Showing the portion of her public, videotaped comments on his site to demonstrate the racism of the NAACP, which was his whole point to begin with? She doesn't have this *epiphany* that so many have been trying to claim, she continues on in racist mode with that "We put up with the Bushes for eight years, Republicans are against 0bama because he's a black president" stuff.
If someone here could please tell me what Breitbart, or FOX for that matter, did to this poor, helpless, put-upon individual, I'd really love to hear it.

That is not how Andrew sold it originally. He started that spin after he found out he had been had.
The NAACP is the winner here as they have gained more “victim” points with the media.
I know several folks that are fans of Andrew and his sites that now feel he has lost credibility.
Now the media has something to go back to to attack his credibility whenever they need to in the future.
He clearly jumped the gun. He gave the media ammo.
He was set up.

You’re right. I’ve been OD’ing on the race card being played every 5 minutes, so I hadn’t followed the story closely enough. Still, they’d like to make this into another Rosa Parks type victim/martyr. If she had been a white lady, I doubt she’d be offered a “unique” job position.
I did not come up with this idea; Michael Savage did.
But I think Andrew Breitbart, The Exposer of ACORN and other SCAMS, was SET-UP.

This was a set-up, orchestrated by the White House. They’re trying to rally the public into acceptance of shutting down “right wing hate speech” outlets (conservative blogs, Fox News, etc). Something fishy about this from the start. This has Chicago-style smear tactic written all over it.

Glenn Beck didn’t fall for it. I think it was also intended to set him up which is why Sherrod said that the White House said this is going to be on Glenn Beck.
I keep hearing that the tape was edited. Were parts cut out between what she said on the portion of the tape Brietbart posted or was it just that he didn't play the whole tape so they are calling it edited?
I really would like to see the FULL tape.
I think we are all being set up.
What "exculpatory", just what portrays the "exact opposite", please? She says she had her mindset changed from black vs. white to rich vs. poor, but then continues on to make racist charge about having to endure "the Bushes" for eight years (still pondering the other Bush folks aside from Dubya) and says the reason Republicans oppose 0bama, the health care bill is that he is a black president. Sorry, but I just don't see what light was supposed to have gone on inside this woman's head.
