Obama uses Let me be clear deliberately and extemporaneously.... annoyingly, so does his administration. Senior adviser David Axelrod employs the variation lets be clear -- constantly. So does Biden, press secy Gibbs, COS Rahm Emanuel. HUD secretary Shaun Donovan used it at least eight times in 20 minutes on NPR. The subtext is, You, the masses, are quite likely misunderstanding everything Ive heretofore been plainly discussing in our native tongue. Allow me to further simplify it for you.

Every time he says “Now Look” or “Look Here” I want to scream: “No, you look, you semi-literate, condescending prick”.
Here I thought I was the only one who wanted to say that...
Now look. Let me be clear.
I think 0bama is a racist, communist tyrant wannabe, bent on reducing the united States to second and third world status among the nations of the world while attempting to elevate, with tax monies extracted by threat of force, the mohammedan African and Asian nations that hate us and want to kill us.
WHO put the nickel in HIM???
When I hear him use the phrase, I hear him saying;
“This is the way it will be. Deal with it.”
I would challenge him to debate or discuss any subject for 10 min without using the words ‘I’,’me’, or ‘my’.
Now, what drew that in here....
Every time he does that I want to scream!!!! Lord of the A$$ Clowns!!
“Make no mistake” is a another wonder phrase from the Kenyan Jackass.
Another observation: although we had differences with GWB, could you imagine any of that administration speaking with such condescension?
One of the deep transformations in the current American character, like twenty-six year old's still living at home off their parents (mothers).
Scary and sad, but Barack Obama may very well not be a mistake, but rather a reflection of today's America.
Johnny Suntrade
.....right before he muddies the waters.
Will America ever see Mr. Soetoro for the fraud that he is?
“We won”
That’s all I ever hear. Even when they don’t explicitly say it, it is how they’ve governed.
No not the only one. “Let me be clear”, “Make no mistake” and like phrases, I find, extremely condecinding. The worst for me is “basically”.
All imply that the audience is too ignorant to understand the “true” words .....
you mean he’s not just channeling Nixon?
“As I’ve said in the past...”
We have a child in the WH who deigns to tell his subjects how stupid they are. Sometimes this world is totally out of whack, and this is one of those times.
We won the election, whitey cracker. Your execution order is pursuant to Obama
and signed by Holder at the DOJ. No due process for your kind.
I hate all of these phrases that these people use over and over and over. “At the end of the day” and “Fact of the Matter is...” are two more that should be dumped forever.
