Here I thought I was the only one who wanted to say that...
No not the only one. “Let me be clear”, “Make no mistake” and like phrases, I find, extremely condecinding. The worst for me is “basically”.
All imply that the audience is too ignorant to understand the “true” words .....
Apparently Americans ARE too dumb to understand.
They elected the Marxist/Muslim- and they STILL don’t get it.
