The NAACP is about to learn one of the most basic of all lessons in life — those who live in glass houses should avoid provoking a stone-throwing war. After the civil-rights organization threatened to issue a condemnation of Tea Party activism by equating it with racism (a position from which they ultimately retreated), Andrew Breitbart announced that he would publish at least one video of the NAACP itself cheering racism. Breitbart delivers on that promise today at Big Government, showing USDA official Shirley Sherrod explain to an appreciative NAACP audience in July 2009 how she deliberately withheld information from a white farmer in Georgia trying to save his land and his business:

You and I are in 100% agreement on this. I’ve stated that all people are racist to one degree or another just as we are all sexist to one degree or another.
I’ve stated that on a couple of liberal sites as delicately as I can and have been absolutely vilified as a despicable racist. It’s actually comical. They are just children, whether they know it or not.
Endogamy is marriage within one’s group; exogamy is marriage outside that group. Both strategies have genetic advantages: endogamy supports the passing on of good genes, while exogamy makes less likely the passing on of bad genes. Without endogamy, speciation and evolution would be impossible. Within a species, however, exogamy supports robust health.
MGM seems to be an endogamist; this should not be confused with racism, which is a belief that one race is innately superior to another.

Prejudice is a natural fear of that which is different -it is in essence a self defense mechanism that causes one to suspect and judge that which is different and unknown as potentially a danger.
Racism on the other hand involves negative action directed toward a race premised upon prejudice, bigotry and or experience...

Everyone is susceptible to THINK as you describe, but "racism" is the rightfully derogatory term for the FAILURE to conciously apprehend those initial thoughts, purposefully impose upon them a forced recognition of the equally created status of all mankind, and act in accordance with that recognition. "Natural inclination" is only excusable in lower life forms having no cognizance of Truth.
Among men, the EXPECTATION is -- correctly -- that individuals, whatever their own internal "gut level" thinking, will inwardly align that "gut level" with The Truth, as manifest in our own Declaration of Independence: "all men are Created equal"; and that having thus intentionally imposed Truth by conscious force of will in correction of any initial, internal error, their outward acts will be entirely uniform across the whole of the human spectrum.

That is true, but I don’t believe that a natural affinity for one’s own kind necessarily means that there is, or rather should be, outright animosity towards those who are different. Being white I would feel most comfortable living in a predom white neighborhood however I wouldn’t NOT give proper information or Christian charity to a person of a different color who lives around me. Ok, BUT, the federal civil rights commission, EEOC, etc., will sue your arse off, if you are white, and discriminate against a black. So while it might be natural for SOME to do so, it is against federal law. And, they have thousands of lawyers on staff to come after your arse if you do.
What this video shows is Shirley Sherrod admitting, as a public servant, no less, blatantly violating federal statutes.
