I am rather stunned by the recent decisions being made by the NRA. I don't really keep up with it, but, has there been a recent change in leadership or something?
I had always thought of the NRA as a group that stood by its principles. If we lose the NRA, what's left?

Playing footsie with the Dems is one thing. An outright endorsement of Reid would likely destroy the NRA and if they don't know that they are too stupid to continue existing.

I said bye-bye to the NRA two years ago.

I hope if this happens NRA members will leave the organization in droves and join with GOA instead.

“Multiple” (but unnamed) “sources” giving “credible reports”, eh?
I think I’ll wait for something more solid than that before I freak out. Thanks.

Is this for real? If so, and the NRA actually does come out and endorse Reid, they have signed their own death warrant.

Multiple sources tell me the National Rifle Association is planning to endorse liberal Harry Reid against pro-gun champion Sharron Angle. Big mistake that they will live to regret...
We joined AARP three years ago to get a discount on a trip to Ireland. Our membership expired now, and we'll never join again, even for a discount on a big trip.

What has happened to the leadership of NRA?

I learned what the NRA was all about back in the early 1990’s when they endorsed an Alabama Congressman up for reelection after he had voted FOR the Brady Bill.
