The media is so absurd now in their constant protection of the Democrats and outright attacks on the right. It is unreal.

The media is culpable in the countries current downward spiral. They refused to allow any examination of Obama, and instead attacked anyone who even asked questions of him. Everything was ‘out of bounds’ to them, and they own this catastrophe.

I don't care if these were students or professional journalists or paparazzi. What this Congressman did was completely out of line, and IMHO, crossed well over the threshold of assault. He was the aggressor. He violated their personal space and he put his hands on them.

He is incredibly LUCKY that these young men didn't (or haven't yet) pressed charges. If they did, he'd be looking at a slam-dunk simple assault charge.

That might be true if they were engaged in conversation. Remember his first instinct was to slap at the camera and then start asking "Who are you?"

Had he simply said, "Before I answer any questions I'd like you to identify yourselves" he would be in good shape.
