WASHINGTON - Elie Wiesel received a lunch invitation at the White House.

The event is to take place on Tuesday, following the publication of newspaper ads by Wiesel obliquely criticizing the Obama administration for pressuring Israel to end building in eastern Jerusalem.

Wiesel is a Nobel Peace Laureate and Holocaust memoirist.

If Barry thinks he can charm or steamroll Weisel he’s got the wrong idea.

Looks like the Zero administration knows they messed up big time when they dissed Israel.

They've been stumbling around lately trying to make things better, this invite showing their latest attempt.

They are showing themselves lately to be a bunch of real keystone cops...can't get financial reform, latest terror attack, oil spill, Israel, economy, elections, bashing Rush Limbaugh...well, they can't get ANYTHING right.

“They are showing themselves lately to be a bunch of real keystone cops..”

All the while The Regime is continuing to destroy America. They know how to do that.

Do not allow “them” to get away with their deeds by thinking that “they” are clueless. Hussein and his Progressive regime are on track.

'Kvelling' for Obama January 20th, 2009

The lead-up to the inauguration was packed with Jewish events, the headliner being the bash attended by Axelrod Monday night. The event, an hors d'oeuvres and drinks reception at the Capital Hilton in downtown D.C., was sponsored by nine organizations — the National Jewish Democratic Council, the United Jewish Communities, the American Jewish Committee, the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, AIPAC, NCSJ: Advocates on Behalf of Jews in Russia, Ukraine, the Baltic States & Eurasia and the Jewish federations of New York, Chicago and Washington. It was not an official inaugural event, but organizers said that prominent Obama supporters encouraged Jewish communal leaders to follow the lead of other ethnic groups by privately sponsoring such a gathering.

"You were all shareholders," Axelrod said, and "you're going to be our partners as we move forward and try to fulfill the commitments we have made."

Elie Wiesel also spoke, praising Obama's "absolute passion for human decency," while calling the new president "a friend to the Jewish people."

Wiesel has high expectations for the new commander in chief. He said he was "convinced" that Obama "will bring an end to the tragedy in Darfur" and utilize "his energy and passion" to bring about "peace in the Middle East." The Nobel laureate added that Obama's election makes him think that his son and daughter will one day be "celebrating the first Jewish president of the United States."

Oh, I know what they're trying to do.

Problem is...it ain't working. Their credibility is eroding faster and faster. And will continue as they spin out of control. Zero always thought he had what it took. But he is a most inept manager of events.

Wiesel should have told Obama to F O in an editorial in the Washington Times, saying I’ll meet with him when he quits trying to destroy Israel. Until then he is my public enemy, and the enemy of the United States.

“But he is a most inept manager of events.”

Barry has at least 32 months left on his contract. There is plenty that Hussein can do in that time.

I'm afraid Wiesel has Palm Beach disease. He is guilty of becoming one of the "optimists" he described in NIGHT who were still refusing to believe there was anything to worry about even though there were already German SS in his little Hungarian town. SS in Kharkov, Ukraine

Like crash and burn.

He is already burning out. There's been complaints of how tired he is.

Too many balls to juggle. He is UNABLE. Look for Rahm to leave and a more "managerial" Chief of Staff to essentially run things in a couple months.
