The economic report released last week by Health and Human Services, which indicated that President Barack Obama's health care "reform" law would actually increase the cost of health care and impose higher costs on consumers, had been submitted to the office of HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius more than a week before the Congressional votes on the bill, according to career HHS sources, who added that Sebelius's staff refused to review the document before the vote was taken.

Update 4/27/2010 1:09pm CT - According to Bret Baier, the DHS is denying this Prowler report, but actually they are admitting they did have the data needed to calculate the budget overruns, well before the House vote. They are merely saying they had not calculated them all until April 22nd. One would hope Mr. Baier and his colleagues are not accepting that fig leavery out of hand. Now, wouldn’t that be a nice way to cover up? “Oops! These numbers aren’t in line with what we’ve told America! I’ve got an idea! Let’s stop calculating them until it’s over!”
Does someone need to tell Bret Baier that computers and spreadsheets make calculations very fast, in this day and age? Get real and get a little investigative, Fox News. Or are you going to let others do all your work and accept everything you hear from the White House? Even if this excuse is true (and come on, now) how irresponsible would it be, for the DHS to have this data and not to calculate it before the House vote? Good grief, Mr. Baier.
They must have run out of fingers and toes.
If no one goes after this story, the fix is in on both sides of the table.
I think this is a bigger scandal than even the content of the bill.
The fact that congress no longer writes its own legislation and indeed doesn't even read its legislation, in some cases can't get copies of it before the vote. It holds phony debates without knowing the actual content and then votes it in. In some cases they finish writing it later, after the vote.
These bills were probably being written two years ahead of Obama's election.
Decades.
This is clearly impeachment material for Sebelius’ ouster.
Part of an ultimately large scheme. The next post at I.O. will show it, thanks to Glenn Beck and his watchdog.
And Sen. Deeply Saddened, who was supposed to be the DDH Secretary one made multiple trips to the White House throughout the time -- the point man.
Keep him tied up on a federal case where the judge has imposed a gag order!
Sebelius knew that the cost of Obamacare was higher than was being stated from her own actuaries, BEFORE the vote, but buried the data until now!
Glad to hear it! Hahah!
“Please, God help us put these people behind bars.”
Lord, hear our prayer.
Amen!
WHY didn’t SOMEBODY at HHS a little bit of honor and concern for his/her kids and fellow Americans who had access to this have the stones to LEAK this damned report BEFORE the vote???????????????
COWARDS ALL!!!!!!
Oh, it sounds like it would be enough to convince a democrat controlled house of representatives to approve articles of impeachment and to convince two thirds of the senate (59 of whom are democrats) to vote to remove Soetoro from office in favor of Dopey Joe Biden.
Another Obama cover-up. Pretty soon there won’t be any space left in DC to cover-up.
And we thought that US Grant was a bad president.
Sort of like letting a live born baby die.
And CNN Online is reporting nada, zip, zilch on this matter.
