During a discussion on O'Reilly about Bill Clinton's recent attempts to compare the Tea Party movement to the impact of conservative talk radio like Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, etc. as having caused Timothy McVay to bomb the Oklahomea Federal building, Dick Morris suggested that Bill should zipper it because Clinton had indicated that this is the first time that he has divulged a comment by Bill that he had to renominate Janet Reno for another term as Attorney General or she would go public about Waco.

I suspect Reno knew a whole lot of dirty stuff, perhaps even before the first World Trade Center bombing in Feb 1993, where the FBI informant (Salem) repeatedly ferried bomb-building instructions from his FBI handlers to the targets of the sting operation, so incompetent were the Islamic terrorists. Salem testified to this before congressional hearings.

The buildings didn't come down that time, but a handful of people did get killed.

Two days later, the BATF launched their cluster-fiasco outside of Waco, (completely shifting the media attention away from the FBI screw-up in NYC), and the FBI thereafter came in to finish off the BATF mess at Waco.

Thanks for the invite. At the time, it appeared that Reno was taking the fall for Waco. It is quite possible that Hillary ordered it, like she needed a sacrifice or something.

Because of Waco, I stopped subscribing to the Dallas Morning News. I still remember getting spitting mad when I saw those flames shooting out of the place.

Don't get confused as I did. Ruby Ridge occurred 08/21/1992. Believe it or not, that was under George H. W. Bush Presidency. 01/20/89-01/20/93. (Reno was not AG yet.) That fact blew me away when I learned it.

Thanks for posting this..was active duty army assigned to a country in Africa when this tragedy happened. Never heard about it..During some remote assignments the only news is fed from DOD in message traffic to the embassies or “facilities”.

Did see the news on TV..about the OK bombing when I was in Asia. Wondered what the heck is going on.

The pentagon has a cable tv station..started a few years ago. it is sent world wide.

I think Morris has gone form opportunist to true patriot. Or maybe he just really sees the threat and knows he’s going to the gulag along with the rest of us. Either way, I think he holds a few cards close to his chest and he may start divulging them.
