Why Obama is ineligible – regardless of his birthplace
World Net Daily ^ | April 01, 2010 | Leo C. Donofrio, Esq.

Posted on 04/01/2010 9:08:40 AM PDT by Seizethecarp

The following discussion assumes President Obama was born in Hawaii and is a United States citizen.

The purpose of this article is to highlight judicial and historical evidence suggesting that a "natural born citizen" must be born in the United States to parents who are citizens. By that definition, Obama is not eligible to be president. Therefore, his presidency and official administrative acts remain subject to being rendered void by the Supreme Court.

I’m just curious why you put forth so much effort trying to counter an issue that you think is going nowhere??

“Maybe Mark Levin and I can get a two-for-one special”

I think Mark is straight and not into tag teaming—you’ll have to find someone else.

Here is David Manning speaking directly to you and all of your “AFTER-BIRTHER” friends.

Of course, the good Rev. Manning who believes that Obama trained with Al Qaeda and is trying Obama for treason in the basement of his church.

Yeah, there's a credible individual conservatives ought to hitch their wagon to.

I blame Yul Brenner.

Every day there is at least one person seeing this for the first time. I do not want them to find only an echo chamber here on FR.

And while there are a few “birthers” who simply believe what they do for purely emotional reasons, there are some who believe this stuff out of a sincere desire to try and make sense of what is going on. They’ll figure things out in their own time and until they do, I would like to encourage them to be cautious of what choices they make based on misinformation.

Sorry, but that doesn’t really make sense. You’re basically admitting that you do think it could go somewhere.

(and BTW, the "AP" that is always cited as authoritative by the "Post & Email" blog is not the Associated Press. It is the African Press.

Actually, it is the Associated Press. The African paper rewrote the story, adding the "Kenyan-born" part to pump up the local interest. But you can find other contemporary versions of the same article without that added introduction, for instance in the LA Times and the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Then I phrased my answer poorly.

I do not think it can go anywhere because there is no where for it to go.

I do not want to leave FR to be an echo chamber of ‘Birther’ silliness and misinformation.

For those who are sincere in their investigations, I do not want them to make rash decisions based on the misinformation surrounding this issue.

When I write: “They’ll figure things out in their own time...” I mean they will eventually figure out that they are chasing phantoms.

I’m talking about the facts I’ve presented on my blog. Janice Okubo said that certificate numbers were given by the state registrar on the “Date filed”. That is a fact. If what she said is correct, there is no way that the Factcheck COLB’s combination of “Date filed” and certificate number are compatible with the Nordyke certificates.

So how do you explain that?

I’ve listed a bunch of facts, with links to the documentation. Which of those facts are you contesting?

What is your [ OldDeckHand ] real agenda of posting here defending an unqualified usurper (illegal alien?) put in the White House by unknown(?) powers to take our nation down the Socialistic lanes. Your late postings here on this matter is very, VERY suspicious, Mr. Deck-Boy (Skyhook)???

A new and credible threat to the Obama presidency has just surfaced so he's back on these eligibility threads to defend the usurper and chief.

Interesting.

Certainly hope that someone sometime will actually follow the Constitution as it was written.

We'll see.

” If what she said is correct...” And that is the point. She is attempting to comment on processes she has no real knowledge of from fifty years ago at a time when all records were done manually.

If you ever done any kind of manual record keeping and handling, you'll know that things do not tend to happen and stay in proper sequential order.

On other threads hypothetical situations have been postulated (that is all we can do) as to how this discrepancy could happen through number block assignments, LIFO processes (Last In, First Out - basically the in-box fills from the bottom up, but it processed from the top down) or other means.

As for the facts you've listed, let's pick one: The SSN’s. Someone ran a superficial check on names that were similar to B. Obama. From that, with -zero- follow up or investigation it was declared that BHO had been using all of those SSN’s. Do you have a different view of this?

That's what I mean.

You called me an idiot because I didn't believe something that is demonstrably false.

When your error is made plain to you, you move on to insults.

This is the kind of thing I want people to see about ‘Birthers’ when they see these threads for the first time.

I frankly don't care that you believe these things. That's your problem. But I want the matter to be clear to others who read these threads.

....and although he retains the same rights as an NBC, he does not meet the Constitutional requirements for the Presidency.
“You can continue believing this drivel if you want. The courts are not supporting your view.”

Sorry, Drew the Courts have, in decisions throughout our nations history, supported Vittal’s def of NBC as the one used by the founders.
We are in the midst of a Constitutional Crisis in that Obama has been installed as POTUS in violation of our Constitutional Requirements for that Office. The process to rectify this situation could have far reaching precedent setting ramifications, and the courts rightfully are being cautious. The courts, as far as I can see, are not willing to advance this case until all the dots and crosses are in place.....Judge Carter in dismissing Alan Keyes’ suit in Ca. suggested that the Plaintiffs refile the suit as a Quo Warrento in the DC court.....I believe this action was suggested to him by Chief Justice Roberts or some other member of the USSC, a back door communication the Justices are using to try and get this issue back on track.... Realistically I think that this case will not be decided until after Obama leaves office in early 2013...but it will be decided and settled......

Why are you so interested in seeing Non- Natural Born Citizens become eligible for the Presidency?

“I’m interested in seeing a strong, electable conservative movement, something that won’t happen if we allow conservatives to be co-opted by unhinged conspiracy mongers foaming at the mouth with their half-baked lunacies of Kenyan grandmothers, Indonesian passports, Hawaiian COLBs and Emmerich de Vattel.”

I agree with your distaste for some of the half baked conspiracy theories that people that floating about, and also believe that they are counterproductive (are these people Obama supporters trying to discredit a valid reason for Obamas removal?)....I think Occam’s Razor is applicable here...... Obama Jr was born in Hawaii, in 1961, to a US citizen mother, and a Kenyan citizen legal resident. Obama is a citizen just as he claims.....here is is where we diverge.....his citizenship is not that of a Natural Born variety because his citizenship did not flow Naturally from the citizenship of his 2 citizen parents....
Vittal’s “Law of Nations” was a source document for the Founders when they wrote the Constitution, and that is well understood by both Historians and legal experts...just not by you.....The term NBC is an centuries old term first coined in the Roman Empire times, and has had many slightly different definitions.... the US used/uses the definition found in “Law of Nations”.....whether you like it or not....

Question...How does allowing Obama to remain as POTUS, in direct conflict with the Constitutional requirements for that office, advance the Conservative agenda? Does allowing his continued tenure there not set a undesirable and dangerous precedent?

On law, ODH has been correct on pretty much every occasion as to how US law would work in regards to eligibility lawsuits.

It is more like that he has figured out like everyone else that getting the judiciary or any other controlling authority to look at Obama's sordid past history where the odds at the moment are against; however, not for the reasons that you think or express, but it it still a worthy effort to expose Obama that you know he is hiding.

If you ever done any kind of manual record keeping and handling, you'll know that things do not tend to happen and stay in proper sequential order.

That would sound good if these had been processed on the same day. The dates of publication of the birth announcements gives us an indication that processing for the certificates was finished three days apart. Each batch consisted of 25 or more births, so it's next to impossible that one record in the middle of a batch would have a higher number than births that didn't get processed until three days later. That they would only be three numbers apart ... even less possible.
