(WXYZ) - The FBI was conducting raids Saturday night at multiple locations in southeast Michigan.
Action News has learned Homeland Security and the Joint Anti-terrorism Task Force is also involved in a major operation.
Federal officials would not say who they were targeting or where, but the FBI has set up a command center at the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department in Ann Arbor, where they have brought in two satellite trucks and a radio tower.
Agents have also obtained search warrants and multiple arrests have been made

Seems like a lot of effort and resources to arrest seven people for allegedly selling pipe bombs. Not to downplay the effects of pipe bombs, but, seems like a bit of overkill.
If true the local cops could have made the arrests with a lot less commotion.
That would make more sense, but, common sense seems to be in short supply these days.
Did someone not fact check or is Indianapolis an added location? What's the connection to the raids in Sandusky & Huron, Ohio, and Hammond, Indiana?

It has to be more than just pipebombs, probably NFA weapons sales and a “Plot” of action against somebody.
IT will be interesting to see if the US Secret Service was also involved, along with the FBI and BATFE. If that is the case, then they are alleging plots against politicians and potentially the POTUS.

remember the Iman our guys took down recently?...21 bullits took him out. He’d been monitored for 2 yrs. Really nasty dude. Was overseeing a huge militia with instructions they were preparing to attack our government, the plans were no small fry stuff!

This is probably a raid on a militia group, you know this administration is just frothing at the mouth for something like this.
As for this being a militia group it's beginning to look like you're correct. And oh hell yeah, they're frothing at the mouth for something like this.
I'm sure the usual salaries for government 'confidential informants' who infiltrate and then instigate these groups to illegality has doubled recently - probably funded by the stimulus bill or 'health care reform'.
I am with you. I do’t believe that they are concerned with the muslims. I believe that they are concerned about individuals who value their freedom and the Constitution.
I do not trust the fbi. And as far as the dhs goes, their head made it plainly known what she thinks of people such as myself.
