I somehow missed the start of this controversy - could someone PLEASE explain to me WHAT was it that was supposed to have “embarrased” biden? How was he “mistreated”??? I don’t get it - where do WE get off telling Israel that they can or cannot build homes in their own country? And, in doing so, it “embarrasses” the U.S.??? How? Thank you.

I remember when Bush was in office, the Dems (Kennedy among others) was running back channel communications with our allies and our enemies. Sort of a shadow government or a government in exile conspiring against the republicans.
Shouldn't Sarah Palin or maybe Dick Chaney go the Israel and meet with Bibi for private discussions and maybe a few photo ops?
And then just to twist Obama's tail, maybe a trip to the Berlin wall to give a speech to the world.
Neither can I.
When I was a young Christian, I prayed every day for Israel. Over the years, I was more sporadic about it.
But as of today, Israel and Bibi will be in my prayers every day, for the God of Abraham to protect them, and that Israel will be assured that there are many true Americans who have not forgotten them.
