I've searched FR, googled, and wicki-ed, the only thing I can find about removing a president is :
The House of Representatives has the power to bring articles of impeachment against a president. If articles are brought, then the president is considered impeached (but not guilty). A simple majority of the vote is sufficient to bring articles of impeachment.
Article 2, section 4 of the Constitution indicates reasons removal from office. "The President, Vice President, and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors."
Obviously, The House isn't going to listen to the people, my question is what rights do the people have for recall (like Gov. Davis) or removal of the President?
Not to be a buzz kill, but nothing he has done thus far, no matter how unseemly are not criminal acts.
And with the libtards running congress...it has no chance.
Unless it can be proven that Barry Soetoro has benefited directly, he has transactional immunity for actions taken in furtherance of his duties as president. The Bailouts of GM and Chrysler and the deal with Fiat, fall under that transactional immunity.
Yeah and Obamacare is the biggest tax cut in history...
People who take any other position have an agenda. You have one. What is it? You either support the constitution and its precedence over all other law, and its plain meaning, or not.
It's easy enough to explain, as I've done it countless times before. It breaks down into two segments...
(1) There is no legal requirement for a candidate to produce a birth certificate and Obama did what all other candidates have done in the past in regards to the qualifications for office.
If a large enough group of citizens wants a law to have candidates produce a birth certificate, they can easily get a law passed to that effect. I've advocated that very kind of law since right after the election.
(2) The status of a candidate being natural born is legally disputed. That's obvious enough just reading here, to see it's disputed ... LOL
And when you have two opposing sides arguing a legal issue, it takes a court to render a final decision. And in this case, the only way this legal issue will ever be settled will be by a Supreme Court decision.
In the meantime, it's a legally disputed issue and nothing more can be done about it.
AND SO... that's what it all boils down to, not matter how much posting and talking and hollering and screaming has gone on.
It all comes down to that #1 and #2 ...
As it stands right now, getting a birth certificate is something that is legally "dead in the water" because no court is going to require a candidate to produce a birth certificate for office, because there is no law requiring it.
And with #2, that's legally "dead in the water" because there is no court case in which the issue has been raised if someone is a natural born citizen on the basis of their parents' citizenship.
Both #1 and #2 is going nowhere, just like they were months ago.
And in answer to the "agenda" question -- it boils down to "realism"... I like to know the realism of "what is" -- and above (on #1 and #2) -- that is the realism of the picture.
You can't do anything about any kind of problem, until you've assessed realistically the current situation and what has caused it to be that way. After that, you can get a realistic solution.
For #1 -- get a state law requiring a birth certificate.
For #2 -- get a court case going that has as its only issue the parents' citizenship in relation to the natural born status of a candidate (and get the Supreme Court to hear it).
And that's about it...
Yeah and Obamacare is the biggest tax cut in history...
Well..., that may be a point you may be making... and that's fine to make such a point, if you want to.
But, it wouldn't be a point related to my #1 and #2 issues (that I related up above)... :-)
. . . “to support, protect, and defend, the Constitution of the United States of America” . . .
Personally, the mere fact that this guy is leading the country down the path of socialism is enough to levy charges that he is not upholding the oath of office.
Any opinions appreciated.
I missed that who gave him immunity and when and for what?
And he and his junta will be de-elected, or alteratively we will have warfare on the order of what the IRA had in Ireland for 40 years , right here in America.Known as the patriot game.
The word is now out about Obama and his engineered history, and people are indeed listening. The fact that the MSM is not carrying it means nothing. Americans have learned to seek truth in aother areas. So we need to nothing but keep on doing what we are doing. The game is over and we have won it.
THe politicians will now pay the price of not listening to the people they represent. They will pay one way or the other.
Very interesting, indeed. Do you know an attorney that would persue this, David?
Yes.
Personally, the mere fact that this guy is leading the country down the path of socialism is enough to levy charges that he is not upholding the oath of office.
The problem with that assessment (that he's leading the country down the path of socialism is enough to levy charges) -- is -- that we all knew that before he was elected -- and yet, he was elected with 10 million more votes than the GOP ticket.
So, I'm saying that if a candidate is doing exactly what we all knew he would do before the election and he was elected with ten million more votes than opposed him in the election -- then how does that work that the very thing that got him elected -- is supposed to get him impeached and thrown out of office?
That doesn't quite make sense..., if you see what I mean.
We don't need no steenkin'court. Right after Obama leaves his de facto office, at the end of his term, we'll settle this over drinks in Washington DC.
If indeed, by then we can still afford them.
It’s fortunate it makes quotes in blue, really easy to skip over the verbal diarrhea.
Pelosi perjured herself by swearing that Obama is Constitutionally eligible so if Obama goes she needs to go too.
It’s probable that Biden knew about it also, which could make him guilty of treason. But he was only elected VP because he was on the ticket with an ineligible candidate so I think the whole ticket would be disqualified.
I suppose Biden would be president until an eligible president could be found.
You have the cops arrest him for forgery, perjury, and extortion.
See http://www.butterdezillion.wordpress.com
As people look further at Obama past the MSM imagery which has been created out of whole cloth about Obama, because of the tyranny of the health care bill, people will learn what the facts are about Obama.
I understand the political part of it, in that people will see what Obama is doing, in terms of the socialist part -- but that's not "educating" us any more than we were already educated about Obama before the election.
The problem is that 10 million more voters went for Obama and his socialist agenda than went for the GOP ticket.
And so, the real problem is how to turn those voters who went for the socialist agenda before, to voters who now are going to go for a conservative agenda. There's the real problem as I see it.
It was the problem before the election and it's the problem, now..., after the election.
We do not need to do anything. Its apparent to the electorate that Obama was born in Kenya.
That part (regarding where he was born) is not connected with the socialist agenda that Obama has, as they are two different issues.
And here, as I posted up above, the voting public has the public announcement from the State of Hawaii that Obama was born in Hawaii. And in case anyone doesn't know this -- the same agency that said this (that he was born in Hawaii) is the very same agency who has all the records about that, and who also is the agency who will print out any certified copies of that birth certificate (if you "get" what I mean...).
Furthermore, the last time I saw a poll done on that (whether Obama was born in the U.S. or not; and posted by a fellow FReeper, here) -- it showed that about 75% of the American public believed that Obama was born here.
I don't think the birth certificate issue is going anywhere... any time soon.
And he and his junta will be de-elected ...
Well, I'm all for him losing the election... and that may very well happen, if the economy ends up sucking as bad as I think. That's the one thing that Americans key their "votes" into -- and that's simply "jobs"...
So, if the jobs situation is really, really bad, then Obama will get the blame and people will vote him out on that basis.
If there is any chance of him being voted out -- it's on the "jobs" situation.
THe politicians will now pay the price of not listening to the people they represent.
Well, if this means that the conservatives will garner a majority in the House and Senate, that would be good news, indeed.
However, I don't think that will happen. I think conservatives will gain seats, but I don't see a majority happening this time around.
And social security fraud (2-3 dozen different SS#’s). And probably campaign finance violations and tax evasion (if income on his 3 dozen or so social security numbers wasn’t reported and taxes paid).
Its fortunate it makes quotes in blue, really easy to skip over the verbal diarrhea.
I thought you said you were going to quite reading my posts... :-)
We do have concrete evidence. The Hawaii DOH has indirectly confirmed in 2 different ways now that the Factcheck forgery is a forgery. The Fight the Smears COLB is a forgery as well. See http://butterdezillion.wordpress.com/2010/01/11/red-flags-in-hawaii-2/
Also I just posted some of his other crimes as well. Forgery, perjury, extortion, social security fraud, campaign finance violations, and charity fraud (for saying he was born at Kapiolani as part of a fund-raising scheme with Neil Abercrombie).
I don’t read any of your posts. I see blue, I skip it. I didn’t read this one either.
Why read the flying spittle from a fool? No reason to, so I don’t.
