I guess this about seals it. Morris says the Dems are short of votes - that just about makes it a slam dunk that the bill will pass.
(of course, even LeBron misses a slam dunk once in a while)
Would Obama order that the National Guard raze the tents and drive the protestors out at bayonet-point?
I wouldn't put it past O'Duce.

The bribes just haven’t been big enough or they haven’t figured out how to hide them. There is no limit to what the last holdouts can get. Also, the big bribes can’t go in until the last minute - “we” can’t find out about them until the vote is done and the “yes votes” can say “I didn’t know about that”.
I’d be happy to find out I’m wrong Monday morning. But I expect some serious haggling to go on Saturday night/Sunday morning and deals being made that are worth more than a small country (maybe even a medium country).
I thought to myself - Yep you will cave and vote yes even if your constituents say NO!
I still bet he caves today!
It's going to pass.
Get to DC this weekend. We need a sea of humanity in the streets to scare the hell out of these swing votes. Get there, get anyone you can to come. This is the ball game.
When has Morris ever been right about anything? Charles Krauthammer seems to think it will pass by 1 or 2 votes...
However: I just got off the phone with the staffer of Zack Space, 18th District of Ohio. He's an idiot, but is supposedly "undecided". The fact that I got through means not enough people are calling, so how about picking up the phone and giving his office a jingle at 202) 225-6265.
I live in the 5th District of Ohio, but I told Mr. Space's staffer that I would take a week's vacation in his district in the fall help campaign for his opponent, if he voted to restrict our liberty.
Please, let's keep the pressure on.
There has to be some of those Dems from conservative districts who feel that the House leadership is determined to destroy them. This has to build up resentment. This HR issue just will not die and keeps the voters in their districts all stirred up.
Could some of them play passive aggressive and say they will vote yes to lure the leadership into having a vote and then vote no to try to put a stake in the heart of this monster?
As for taking bribes for their votes? They need to remember that you never agree to a bribe on credit. Once the briber gets what he wants, why would he ever pay off? The payoff just provides the evidence that there really was a bribe.
Don’t trust these rat bastards!.....remember, It’s Chicago style politics we’re playing now!
Well, this correlates with the thread earlier saying Fox announced they have 214 votes. Tat means they don’t have the votes and Morris is correct.
Any one here could have made the same announcement quoting Fox.
The question is was Bret’s panel correct? They all said if it is within one or two votes, they will some how prevail.
Has anybody told Morris he needs to put a padlock on his refrigerator? When I see him on O’Reilly, his collar is so tight on his fat neck, I think he is going to choke.
It Begins at last: OpEd: Impeach the President?
This is the first time Ive seen this idea mentioned in the media:
http://washingtontimes.com/news/2010/mar/19/impeach-the-president/
JON VOIGHT: Call to Arms: Join Me in DC Saturday to Stop ObamaCare
Call him and tell him to update his resume... he's toast after November.
Also worth calling: Joe Courtney, Jim Himes.
Larson and DeLauro are probably hopeless, but keep tying up their phone lines...
Well I’m going to be like a lib and go with Morris this time. The facts tell me he’s often wrong, but he makes me feel good for the moment :)
Please GOD let this be the high water mark.
I believe they have the votes and know it. They are just hiding it until the vote. This shields those who would be catching crap from taking heat until then. If it fails, don’t worry zero will just issue an executive order and ta-da, all is fixed.
The solution would be for the Republican party to get them to switch and offer full support for both elections.
I cannot figure out when Morris came over to the”dark” side, us!
I mean he worked for Bill and Hill but he seems not to like O too much!
He responded in a friendly voice, "OK, well we'll see about that. Thank you sir."
